Beautiful house!

4 of 5
Just like all the other reviews, this house is exactly what it is! Beautiful house and definetly an amazing view! We would highly recommend this house. Pictures don't do justice. You have to see it yourself to believe it! Only thing I would say is that it was a little further ways to get to places we would like to be. However, Caroline was awesome! Thank you!!

Walk in the door and be on the sea

4 of 5
The Walkabout Cottage is more like a Home away from Home. We sold our house and decided to have an adventure by the sea. We arrived at the Walkabout to find a most breathtaking view the minute we walked in the door. The open floor plan gives a feeling of being one with the sea. The house is well stocked with everything you need, and if you need anything the very accommodating landlords are quick to meet those needs. We have plenty of room for our family to visit and stay overnight with a separate 'suite' downstairs as well as beds upstairs. The main bedroom is as close to being on a boat as you can get! We spent our first winter here as adventurers. And quite a winter it was! The house has a variety of places to enjoy yourself, a flat screen tv, a table for art projects upstairs and plenty of space for games, puzzles, eating and writing on the first floor. A full laundry and Jacuzzi tub on the ground floor. No two sunrises are alike and the sound of the waves and the wind lull you to sleep. One September day I counted 35 boats on the water, quite something. This is a very special place with good walking routes around the lighthouse point as well as sidewalks to town. If you ever thought the ocean was where you wanted to be, this is the place, safe and sound, The Walkabout Cottage. liz and chip ennis

LOVELY home, great amenities, spectacular views!

5 of 5
This home is very accurately described and did not disappoint. The photos and descriptions were great, but experiencing the views first hand from all the decks was thrilling! We had a wonderful family reunion and cherished each morning coffee and evening cocktail together on the front, back or rooftop deck. We cooked each evening (plenty of pots, pans and pantry items!). The gas grill is a tad small if you are cooking for 10, but we managed just fine. We took a few excursions to Boston on the ferry, to the sand beach (dropped gear and people at Y street) and to the carousel. We took walks along the seawall and experienced the "Illuminations Event" the first night. The convenient location for quick side trips to Derby Shops(lunch at Burton's Grill was fabulous) and Trader Joe's was helpful. And there's a great Hot Yoga Studio next to Stop N Shop in Hingham. The home is away from the hustle and bustle of Hull--- in a gorgeous quiet neighborhood. The home was very clean, and well equipped with linens, towels, and beach needs. The outdoor shower, and washer/dryer were great conveniences too. Tom the manager was quick to respond and had many helpful hints since he knows the area so well. Overall we all had a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE in this lovely home and would recommend it for others planning family get togethers.
