Everything about the property was unique and extraordinary. I don't know the Cape very well at all but from the week I just spent there it is fairly obvious that the property surrounding Eelmans Point House is a gem; surrounded by a land trust and family lands dating back over 100 hundred years, the place is full of history and architectural interest. The house itself is very well suited to having multiple families or couples with a couple of remote suites and a more family oriented wing. It is very well stocked with beach toys, games, books, kitchen appliances and wares, and has lots of space for playing, reading, talking, yoga, etc. The view from the balcony off the dining room is GORGEOUS and the very easy access to the private beach is more than just convenient. This property was an absolute delight for my family and exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The property managers were attentive and kind and more than happy to share the rich history of the land and the family. We have every intention of returning often and soon. Thank you!!!

We were the first guests at this new to the market rental. The house was nicely updated with new beds, mattresses and decor. The newly opened floor plan of the kitchen and living room were very easy and comfortable. We had a little bit of apprehension even stepping on the beautiful new and freshly refinished floors. The whole house had a bright and airy feel to it and was very easy. Everyday we walked to the little assoc beach landing and kayaked all over pleasant bay! We also brought our small whaler down and took a few high speed jaunts out to the sand spit behind nauset. The back yard with beautiful bluestone patio was a great spot to unwind at the end of the day. The outdoor shower was also brand new and did feel great washing off the salt at the end of the day. We really enjoyed grilling on the patio while the kids played basketball on the small court. On other nights we enjoyed many of the great restaurants from orleans down to chatham. Nauset beach was a short ride after crossing over monument rd to beach rd but once we got there we realized the water was still a bit chilly! Skaket beach proved to be much more tolerable on the bayside. I forgot to mention all of the walking trails we enjoyed nearby. We can't wait to come back and spend more time exploring! We have already reserved time in September. We highly recommend this house for ease, location, convenience and overall great value for the money!
