The genuine Sconset cottage

5 of 5
My husband and I celebrated our 27 year wedding anniversary in this original Sconset cottage. (We spent honeymoon at the Ship's Inn in 1986). What a great cottage with great light and a great outside deck. We have friends on the island 'locals' with a genuine appreciation of the island's history that were blown away that places like this still exist on the island...not torn down/built up. Really special.

Perfect for two!

5 of 5
The cottage is absolutely perfect for a couple. It is quaint and comfortable and has everything you could need. My boyfriend and I rented the cottage for a few days in early April and found it to be a perfect fit for our desires. The close proximity of the beach, the coziness of the cottage, and the off-season seclusion all made for an ideal escape - exactly what we were looking for. During the season, I'd imagine the feeling to be different - busier, noisier, less private - but during the off-season it was magical. We are already planning our next getaway to Nantucket and Barque.

Spectacular house !

5 of 5
We had such a great week ! The house is absolutely beautiful and charming with all of the comforts of home - - and many more ! Plenty of room inside and out. Huge grass backyard. Great location near town, right across from bike path and close to all that Nantucket has to offer. We are already working on booking next summers trip to this great house !!
