My family rented the farm house to attend a wedding celebration in Greenfield. The property was a perfect location to reconnect with grown children as well as watch the little ones marvel at sheep and roosters. Lots of space - one of the most comfortable homes I've rented with every amenity imaginable. The hot tub was hot - the beds were comfortable - the house was perfect! A perfect 5 out of 5!

            LOVED IT!

We came into Shelburne Falls with 7 adults and 5 kids in order to attend a wedding about 20 miles away. Didn't get there until late, but our hosts met us in the driveway, gave us a great tour of the house, and were simply wonderful to meet. The house is so cool. We had one group with the baby on the first floor, my wife and I on the second floor, and a third family on the third floor! By the way, we didn't fill up the house. Construction is so cool all the guys spent time going over the beams and roof (especially the roof), and we even tried out how to make slate shingles on our own (check out Youtube). We lucked out entirely when we found out that River Fest was going on the next morning. We all walked from the house to downtown (about a block, fantastic location!), toured the flower bridge, the town and the river. Another wonderful time, then back home to a sit down and play in the back yard that kept everyone happy. River Fest is very cool, and the results of the glacial migration which created the river itself are unbelieveable to view. We all got our pictures taken with the river at our backs! One feature of the house we still talk about is the kitchen/living room area on the second floor. We all sat there 2 evenings and visited and played. For 3 days none of us ever had a TV on or even the radio. Just cool and comfortable. Thanks for everything, we loved it.

This hidden gem was the perfect getaway for us. Having the delightful opportunity to spend the first week in May at the cottage was just what we needed. We arrived two days earlier than expected and Lisa couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating! The home was clean, well organized and provided all the immunities any guests may need. The gardens were beginning to bloom after a long winter. We enjoyed sitting on the outside deck daily listening to the stream that feeds the pond along with all of nature's other music. We had a chance to meet and talk with a couple of very nice neighbors as we walked to the Heath Post Office. We enjoyed our visits to Shelborne Falls and other nearby interests. There are many great books on the shelves, movies, games and comfortable furniture to enjoy it all. Firewood for the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit were on site. The cottage is roomy, charming and cozy for one or multiple guests. Sharing dinner with Lisa and friends on our last evening was icing on the cake. Cheers to you, Lisa and thank you! We hope to come back another time.
