My family rented the farm house to attend a wedding celebration in Greenfield. The property was a perfect location to reconnect with grown children as well as watch the little ones marvel at sheep and roosters. Lots of space - one of the most comfortable homes I've rented with every amenity imaginable. The hot tub was hot - the beds were comfortable - the house was perfect! A perfect 5 out of 5!

            LOVED IT!

            5 of 5
We came into Shelburne Falls with 7 adults and 5 kids in order to attend a wedding about 20 miles away. Didn't get there until late, but our hosts met us in the driveway, gave us a great tour of the house, and were simply wonderful to meet. The house is so cool. We had one group with the baby on the first floor, my wife and I on the second floor, and a third family on the third floor! By the way, we didn't fill up the house. Construction is so cool all the guys spent time going over the beams and roof (especially the roof), and we even tried out how to make slate shingles on our own (check out Youtube). We lucked out entirely when we found out that River Fest was going on the next morning. We all walked from the house to downtown (about a block, fantastic location!), toured the flower bridge, the town and the river. Another wonderful time, then back home to a sit down and play in the back yard that kept everyone happy. River Fest is very cool, and the results of the glacial migration which created the river itself are unbelieveable to view. We all got our pictures taken with the river at our backs! One feature of the house we still talk about is the kitchen/living room area on the second floor. We all sat there 2 evenings and visited and played. For 3 days none of us ever had a TV on or even the radio. Just cool and comfortable. Thanks for everything, we loved it.

We searched and searched for a place to stay for the Thanksgiving holiday until we found this idyllic home. It meant so much to us to be able to have an experience as close to home as possible since we were having our boys stay in the area while at school, instead of making the trek back to Ca. Mark and Sarah made all of our requests come true. The kitchen was well equiped for the big meal; there was plenty of firewood for the 4 days; the hot tub was awesome, even in the falling snow; the grounds around the home were perfect for light hikes and exploring. My greatest pleasure was being outside and hearing nothing but the sound of the breeze through the trees. In short, it was all that we hoped for.
