ONE OF THE BEST VACATION RENTAL (VBRO) EVER!!

5 of 5
We are back in Hawaii, after a two week stay in July 2014 at the Pumpkin House in Rockport, Ma. We were in Mass for a niece's wedding at the Hammond Castle in Gloucester. My goodness, she picked July 5th for the wedding, one of the busiest time here in this area, but staying here at the Pumpkin House was perfect for all we had to do was walk out the front door to enjoy all the July 4th activities (which extended to 3 days of fun because of the storm). And that is one of the reason this vacation rental is great...it was near the beaches, the shops, the restaurants, and a 6 minute walk to catch the train to Boston. There was ample parking for our group..3 cars..but a lot of onstreet after the July 4th crowd left. The house was great, a real antique colonial house (remember we live in Hawaii). There was space for everyone to have alone time if needed, we tended to collect in the kitchen a lot. All sleeping areas are air conditioned. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a large family dinner. Okay we only did it once because so many places to eat around here. There is a half bathroom downstairs, and two complete bathrooms on the second floor...so there was never an issue about that! And if there are any issues, just call Roger for he responds immediately to fix any problems you may encounter. This is a great vacation rental for families, big and roomy, near everything, a short walk to catch the train to Boston. (Which was so fun for us, and to use the subways, too!) We were enjoyed our stay here, and happy we selected the Pumpkin House!!

MAGICAL PLACE

5 of 5
My famiy stayed here for the week of 4th of July and it was fantastic. The home was very well kept and clean. There was plenty of room and the location was perfect. We enjoy kayaking and were able to put in right across from the home. Most days we strolled to Bear Skin Neck for breakfast, a book, to see some shops, or just for the view. We were able to spend just enough time on the beach without having to deal with parking or traffic. We also enjoyed the 4th of July festivities. I would highy recommend this rental it is perfect for people with young, teen or older children. It is also perfect for couples. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

WE HAD A GREAT WOMEN'S WEEKEND!

4 of 5
Every year, we have a women's weekend for approximately 8 to 10 ladies. The layout of the house was perfect for our group. The view from the rooms upstairs was beautiful. The deck on the second floor was large and scenic. The location was perfect since it was between Rockport and Gloucester, neither town was too far away and was a good distance for a couple of our runners/walkers. The kitchen and common areas were great for us to play board games, prepare snacks, and read. We could still be together and enjoy the different activities. The property was clean and well maintained. Bruce was a wonderful host and was accessible through the whole weekend if we had questions. I would absolutely recommend the house friends, co-workers, and relatives. Thank you very, very much!!!
