Storybook Comfort

5 of 5
Upon entering our second stay at Belle’s Gift, we immediately felt welcomed, warm and at ease. Not only is the home in impeccable condition, spotless and cared for, it is also luxuriously appointed. The fully-equipped, well-stocked kitchen (new, high-end stainless steel appliances including an incredible induction oven) allowed for enjoyable culinary experiences whether entertaining guests or making simple meals. As a bonus, we loved the addition of the brand new teak outside dining table and made great use of the Weber grill. The beds are decadent, outfitted in the nicest, high quality linens. Many hours were spent in front of the wood-burning fireplace in the cozy den lined with shelves containing a plethora collection of books. Weather permitting, the beautiful outdoors offered amazing views from the vast rolling lawn – a front-row seat to the unbelievable Nantucket sunsets. A favorite activity for us (and just two minutes away) was to spot seals at Quidnet Beach, walk around Sesachacha Pond, or view Nantucket town from Pocomo. The layout of the house and property are perfect for both large groups or couples. The house will offer anyone a quiet, private escape into cozy luxury that’s only minutes from town. Bob and Virginia couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. We are already anticipating our third stay.

A Home of Comfort and Style

5 of 5
Our stay was wonderful. The home and its furnishings are beautiful. The description and photos of the property provide a very realistic preview of what to expect upon arrival. We slept 7 people one night, and there was ample room and accommodations for all. The home is very clean and well-maintained, the linens and furnishings are high quality, and the kitchen is well equipped, making for a very comfortable and pleasant stay. There is even an electrical generator installed in the event of a power outage. The property's location and close proximity to a private beach are very desirable, as well. Finally, the owners are very helpful and cooperative, and their high standards are readily apparent throughout this property. We would enthusiastically recommend this rental to anyone who vacations in the area and wishes to live in a home of comfort and style during their stay.

Great Plymouth Vacation House

5 of 5
Our 3-generation family of 7 enjoyed a great 2014 Thanksgiving week stay at By the Seaside in Plymouth, MA. The house is very roomy with lots of amenities and the location at Priscilla Beach was very convenient for walks along the beach at low tide, seeing the Plymouth attractions, and visiting Cape Cod. The full kitchen, with the large range and refrigerator, was ideal for preparing our family Thanksgiving dinner. The information for the area, including the online tide tables, grocery shopping, attractions, and restaurants, was very helpful. We enjoyed visiting Plimoth Plantation, Mayflower II, and the Grist Mill, also Pilgrim Hall Museum, and the Monument to the Forefathers. We saw harbor seals at Ellisville Harbor State Park and toured the Sandwich Glass Museum on Cape Cod. The grandchildren loved looking for sea shells at the beach, also enjoyed the provided board games on the one rainy day we had. Thanks for everything, we really enjoyed our stay, and would love to come back again.
