Fabulous vacation home!

5 of 5
We loved, loved, loved this adorable home in South Yarmouth! Everything about it was wonderful. It's 1.6 miles to the Bass River Beach--we took a walk there every morning to start the day on a nice note. Our daughter and friend were pleased that the house is also within walking distance of yummy ice cream shops. The house is clean and very comfortable. We had one day of rain, and it was really pleasant to just hang out at the house, reading books and enjoying the quiet atmosphere. The large, fenced-in backyard is amazing--hammock, fire-pit, dining table, grill. (The hammock is the perfect spot to unwind...). South Yarmouth is a nice, central location on the Cape. We drove to ocean-side and bay-side beaches (Nauset in Orleans, Corporation in Dennis). Factor in $15-20 for parking per day. Or walk to Bass River Beach (our new favorite beach!) from the house and save the parking fee. Owner Joe was an absolute delight to work with as we put together our vacation plans! We will definitely be back!

Delightful Stay

5 of 5
Our family enjoyed this delightful bungalow while visiting family in the area. It was better than the pictures show and is exactly as described. It was perfect for our needs of 3 bedrooms for a few days and then just one...not too big, not too small, just right. It was recently remodeled and everything is new and spotless. It is tastefully decorated. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space. The owner and I emailed and talked on the phone and our business went very smoothly. The house is in a "beach house " community between the main road and the beach. It's a lot of steps to the beach but if that is a problem there are plenty of public beaches nearby without steps. The location is good for a vacation because it is located between Boston and Cape Cod but much quieter. It is close to many stores and restaurants nearby and in Plymouth. We especially enjoyed Rose and Vicki's for pizzas and subs, the Lobster Pound and 99. We hope to stay there whenever we're in Plymouth and have recommended it to relatives and friends.

Like a lovely hotel, not someone's camp.

5 of 5
My husband, my son Alex and I came for our last vacation as a family before Alex goes off to college....there will be more family vacations, but then, he'll be independent. We reserved the house expecting to bring our little dog Charlie, but he passed on June 21st leaving us all with an emptiness in our heart. When first we arrived, we noticed that the house was appointed with a very beachy theme that was very inviting. The owners clearly spent time with special touches - like candles and a basket in the bathroom similar to a hotel. The leasing agent brought additional paper products which was so unexpected. The photographs don't do the property justice - it is really much lovelier than we expected. The location couldn't be better - to beaches, to restaurants, shopping and attractions like go karts, waterslides, miniature golf and anything a kid could want! You can also patronize so many of the "famous old cape restaurants". Don't be scared off that it's a duplex....it's just like having an adjacent neighbor. It's very private and completely separate. And for those that can't be without a mall, the Cape Cod Mall is just a short drive. The owners have provided so much to make your stay more comfortable .... like chairs for the beach. I would definitely enjoy being their guest again!
