Wonderful!

We have been going to these cottages for many years....we happily return season after season. The light, the sunsets, the walks out into the bay during low tide are always special. The Cape is such a magical place, we are already looking forward to next year :)

A Hidden Gem - it doesn't get much better than this

5 of 5
I stayed at the Barn for a week before Labor Day, 2014. I've stayed at a lot of different places in Provincetown - hotels, B&B's, rentals. This property is top of my list. It's super clean and fresh -- no musty smell or manky grandmothery aesthetic. It's really spacious -- the high ceilings, open floor plan, and windows are fantastic -- I've stayed in some shoeboxes in Provincetown but it's hard to find somewhere that is this spacious. The deck looks out to a stunning garden, and you can see the ocean. It's not on the beach, but the way it's set in from the road offers a quiet hidden oasis. The two bedrooms are average size (and have AC), are very comfortable, and one has great views of the ocean--the sheets were high quality (white cotton, high thread count, and I'm a snob when it comes to bed linens). The bathroom is standard and clean, with high quality white fluffy towels. There is a great top of the line gas grill on the deck, and we cooked more than we thought we would. The kitchen has everything you would need. We brought our bikes as the Barn is down in the East End of town, but if you are on foot walking into town isn't far (probably a 10-15 minute walk). It's also really quiet -- so if you want to avoid the noisier parts of Commercial Street this is a great location. We brought our dog and he had a great time, including walks on the beach. Jonathan and Camille were really helpful when we needed anything, and they keep everything ship shape! I'll definitely return to the Barn anytime I'm visiting Provincetown, it's a hidden gem.

Quiet vacation in great location

5 of 5
We stayed in this cozy studio for a relaxing week-long vacation in the middle of August and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The condo is in a perfect spot, away from Route 6 but still close enough to make quick trips for supplies and to restaurants/shops. Even better, it's only a quick 4 mile bike ride to Provincetown, where you can shop, eat and ride the Provincelands trail. Just steps down the path to a calm bay beach, which was peaeful but still had lots of people nearby. Perfect for a run. The condo itself, while not fancy, has everything you need to make basic meals, watch TV if you feel like it and especially relax out on the back deck. We'd love to come back next year.
