The View!!

5 of 5
I just booked my week for this summer and realized I never wrote a review for last year. The pictures do a great job of showing the view, but wait until you see for yourself! Just hanging out on deck watching the bay and harbor was amazing. We just couldn't get enough of the view. And, having the beach right there.... very convenient. Our hosts, Jim and David are great. They were so accommodating. Everything was a yes. Attention to detail was perfect. The condo is crazy cool. The Master is on the third floor with it's own balcony overlooking the bay. You can see everything from Herring Cove Beach to the West to Truro to the East. Everything about the condo is comfortable, clean and well thought out. And, there's an amazing view from every room and a outdoor space on each level. The location is perfect too. Not right in the middle of town, but only minutes to everything. The condo is set back a bit from the street, so it's really private. We got bikes to get around town, but never really needed them except when we went out to Herring Cove. Thank you guys, we had a wonderful time and we're so excited to be coming back this year! Bill and Peter

Restful Winter Retreat

5 of 5
I spent a week here from January 31st to February 7th. There was record snowfall during my visit, but I didn't mind at all. That's because this spacious unit had everything--I didn't need to go out. The kitchen was spacious, and the appliances were all in tip-top shape. It looked like the refrigerator was brand new! Downstairs in the basement is a large room with a washer and dryer, and a table-tennis table. The king sized bed on the 3rd floor was HUGE. The shower on the third floor was large enough to fit 2 persons with room to spare, so you can both start the day squeaky-clean at the same time. The monument views from the unit are lovely. And even though it's right off route six, there was no traffic noise. I never slept so well. The bed was confortable, and there was no problem with the heat or electricity, despite record setting winds and low temperatures. Everything was nearby. I had a massage at the Shui Sps (90 minute warm stone massage. It was HEAVEN! Ask for 'bobby' if you make an appointment, he's been my massage guy for the past 4 years of winter vacations), had dinner at NAPI'S restaurant (which also has great gluten free options!). Brunch at Fannizi's, and a Superbown party at the Wave Bar were highlights of the trip. But, back to the unit. The rooms and hallways were in beautiful bold colors, and the third floor bedroom has a glass sliding door and a balcony with table and chairs outside. (I didn't take advantage of this due to the blizzard) Parking for 2 vehicles, free wifi, and a fully stocked kitchen rounded out this over-sized unit. As fun as Provincetown is during the summer, seeing it in the dead of winter holds a special beauty and magic all its own. I will be sure to return to this unit next year, again, for my February vacation. A special shout out to Bea and Mike from Pat Shultz Realty who got me keys to the unit very quickly when I accidentally locked myself out on a very cold day. Thanks for the prompt service and making everything so darn easy.

We loved it!

5 of 5
This is the perfect location to launch walking tours of the Freedom Trail, or you can simply hop on a bus at either corner and head straight for downtown. This quiet residential area is minutes away from most attractions. We walked to the Naval yard and Bunker Hill Monument, and several times walked into downtown. We were close to delightful local restaurants. My husband walked each morning to the Grasshopper Cafe for amazing breakfasts, and we dined at the Warren Tavern (built circa 1780) and twice at Paolo's Trattoria. Whole Foods and CVS are a short walk away. Keep in mind Whole Foods will delivery your first order, so you can stock up and not schlep it home. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms modern. Dawn was so gracious. The only drawback I see is for anyone with problems climbing stairs. There's a steep climb to the main floor, and another for the bedrooms. Except for this, I give this apartment and location two thumbs up!
