We loved our stay at this perfectly located apartment! We arrived by bus at the South Station, took a day trip to Salem and surrounding areas from the North Station, and took the Silver Line to the airport. We were able to walk everywhere or take the metro, which was very easy to navigate. All the important sites were very close to the apartment, along with the best restaurants and grocery stores.
Caroline was very responsive to our needs and questions, and she was very happy to make recommendations for places to eat and grab a quick meal. Although we never had a bad meal anywhere, no trip to the North End would be complete without visiting Regina Pizzeria or Mike’s Pastry (they are not busy before 10 am). Bova’s Bakery is right around the corner too and they offer mini cannoli and great sandwiches. Also, be sure to stop in the Green Dragon for a pint to experience history and have a memorable meal at Ye Old Oyster House.
My only criticisms would be that there is no place to fully unpack your luggage. My husband and I did our best to use the closet and the shelves in the bedroom, but it was a little awkward for an extended stay. Regardless, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
