Delightful stay in Provincetown

5 of 5
Our week-long stay in one of the Studio Cottages at Hideaway Hill was perfect in every way. Jonathan and Camille are wonderful hosts - nearby, attentive and responsive, and yet our cottage was quiet and private. The studio was spotless, airy and stocked with just the right necessities (electric tea kettle for instance) but uncluttered. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the reading lamps on both sides. The picture window facing the trees was a lovely spot for breakfast and card playing, and the deck added an outdoor space in which to relax as well. There's an overhang outside the cottage which allowed us to keep our bikes at hand and out of the reach of rain. The cottage is both cozy and spacious - really well cared for and thoughtfully arranged. The location, on the East end, was ideal for us—an easy bike ride or walk into town and yet a quiet retreat. We enjoyed riding our bikes around town and on the trails through the dunes and to the beaches. The art galleries in town are active - several openings on Friday and lots of engaging owners and assistants. Suzanne's garden is a peaceful and beautiful spot and, although we did not spend time there, the beach near the cottage it is lovely as well. Our cottage at HideAwayHill is a gem and we are grateful for the our excellent hosts, Jonathan and Camille. We will surely return.

Wonderful!

The cottage is absolutely charming, a model of Scandinavian-style efficiency, in a great location, and just perfect for a stay in Provincetown! The owners were incredibly friendly and kind to both us and our dogs. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation, we hope to get to return!

Beautiful and central to everything

5 of 5
We had a fantastic time, and the owner was attentive and responsive about even little questions we had. The kitchen and living room were beautiful and great for hosting a small group of friends. The bedroom was charming and modern, with a beautiful balcony. The bathroom was well-appointed and as large as you could ask for in a cozy home. We're over-packers, and I was shocked that we could unpack for an entire week comfortably - 2 dressers and a pretty big closet in the bedroom. The bed was nice and I think we got better rest there than we do at home. Little things, like beach towels, umbrellas, and all the basics you need to use a kitchen fully are supplied and must have been replaced recently (or everyone is too busy eating elsewhere) - regardless, I actually enjoyed taking advantage of it! I wanted to pick up after myself just so I could show it off as much as possible. Not to bury one of the most wonderful pieces, but it is SO close to Commercial and the Boatslip, we could stop by at home with shopping goodies or slip right out to the pools without a second thought. Lastly, from the balcony you can meet your neighbors, almost like it was Barbary Lane :) I can't give this a better review - it was simply wonderful.
