Unbelievably Great House

5 of 5
We had a group of ten people, some strangers to one another. The house was the envy of all, and provided plenty of public space for bonding, and private space for napping, etc. Even the design professionals could find no detail of design or maintenance to quibble with, and the professional chef found the kitchen a joy to work in, and perfectly equpped. As beautiful as the house is, it is not at all "fussy," and everyone (including two small dogs and their owners) found it both comfortable and easy to maintain. A great, great house.

Our time there

5 of 5
All I can say is that we stayed at the house last October, only for a long week end, but wish we could have stayed longer, the home is meticulously kept, the owners are fantastic, and it is right near everything. Sitting on the front porch, you can see the water, it is quiet and very relaxing. All the ammenities are there, just bring food and drink, and enjoy your time in this wonderful home.

Beautiful. We loved it!

5 of 5
We are a family of 6 who has been coming to Provincetown for many summers. In years past we stayed at the Provincetown Inn, and in hotels further down Cape. This past year we decided to stay in a rental house. We found that this is a much better arrangement than any hotel. The original cottage (its really a house) is very old, but has been remodeled. The own says that it was built more than 100 years ago by a rich woman as a playhouse for her children! It has an enormous, airy living room with views of the bay and lighthouse at the end of the Cape. At one end of the living room is a fireplace and a balcony above it. The deck is also huge and hangs right over the beach. All the bedrooms are charming with higher grade linens, stained glass lamps and Asian rugs on the floors. The only criticisms we had was that the kitchen stove was old, but the owner has told us that he has now replaced it. This was the best rental we ever had on Cape Cod and we will certainly come back again.
