Charming and Perfectly Located

5 of 5
I had an absolutely magical week in Provincetown and loved staying here. The cabin is clean and cozy, the location couldn't be better and being on the water made for a perfect P-Town experience. Will definitely be back!

Just right

Concur that the condo owner is fair and accessible. The condo is well-appointed, and the balcony is nice. Kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans so you can cook rather than eat out each night. We found the downstairs neighbor charming and friendly. On-site laundry saved a lot of packing space. Really convenient to have a place within walking distance of the art galleries and restaurants in Provincetown with its own parking. Mostly, just a really nice balance of accessibility to P-Town attractions and sufficient distance to avoid the headaches of the crowd. The beach out front is nice, but would make sure you can get out to race point beach, which is one of the loveliest I've seen. Also free HBO! Would have given six stars, but the condo's refrigerator poetry magnets HAD ONLY TWO WAYS TO FORM THE FUTURE TENSE!!! Among the refrigerator poetry word-magnets were ONE "will" and ONE "shall." After that, if the tenant wants to speak in the future tense, he/she is throwing "are going to" or "is going to" into the middle of a line, which, let's face it, ain't always poetry. I mean, I get that poetry is often supposed to be sensory, and that this is often best achieved in the present tense, but if the tenant feels like their images are strong enough to write refrigerator poetry in the future tense --maybe to create a sense of prophecy --seems like it ought to be between the guest and his/her muse, right? And if the reader's immersion in the image is the goal, then you'd have a hard time explaining the gross deficiency of second person pronouns on the condo's refrigerator. You want me to drop the reader into the verse, then give me some "you's" to work with. Right? I mean there condo has two "you's" and ZERO "y'all's" on its fridge. By the sixth line of poetry, I was taking the free-standing "y"s included to allow the tenant to turn nouns into adjectives and putting them in front of up-side down "no"s. Which works, actually. Anyway, on balance, condo was great and we definitely [ARE GOING TO] rent again if it's available. [YOU] should definitely give this place a look.
