The place was great and the owners friendly & responsive. The location is awesome with proximity to everything. Bikes are great in P'town, but not necessary here, unless you want to go exploring. Had probably the most well-appointed kitchen of all the places I've stayed these last several years. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the Cottage for a week and it was a very pleasant experience. Nice place with a beautiful view, secluded in the woods, close to the beach, downtown and to the trail in the woods which our dog enjoyed very much. Our hosts, Jonathan and Camille are extremely friendly and warm people who made our stay very enjoyable. They are great dogs lovers. Dog even had its own towels. Cottage was fully equipped with everything you may need, including all utensils, bath with jacuzzi and wine glasses. We will definitely recommended this place to all our friends.

After a quick 2-night stay in 2013, my husband and I decided to venture into the one-week vacation in Ptown. Searching the huge number of options, we found what fit our needs; private parking, great photos of what seemed to be an immaculate and updated home, no security deposit, and close proximity to all the fun of the town. First contacts with Mac were very cordial and we booked our week very easily. Arrival and finding the property was a breeze. Not having any experience with a lockbox proved to be a little tricky in getting it open at first, but we figured it out and walked in. Wow. Being a real estate buff (I love to fantasize about homes and even check out open houses for the fun it) I know that pictures don't often do a property justice, both in positive and negative aspects, but Mac truly captured the essence of his condo, and the pictures don't even capture the care and detail of the renovated space. Everything is new, clean, and in pristine condition. (Another perk...the back door off the kitchen has an electronic deadbolt, so you really don't need to worry about taking keys with you!) Anyone who has stayed in Ptown knows that housing is tucked into every nook and cranny and can be cramped. That's not the case here. Living areas are spacious for the size and the 3 of us (one couple and one single) staying here this week have our own private bedrooms with queen beds and we don't feel like we're crowded. The bedrooms are tight, so 2 people with 2 large pieces of luggage is a challenge in our bedroom. We have a memory foam mattress at home and having one on vacation makes it feel like you're in your own bed. Each bedroom has its own a/c unit. The kitchen is well-stocked with enough things to make meals at home if you don't want to take advantage of the huge number of dining options in town. There's a patio out back with table and seating for 4 and a hammock in the shady area up the hill. There are other folks in the other units, but apart from seeing them come and go, we never hear them upstairs. Will we stay here again? Absolutely. Would I recommend to friends? Absolutely. Rent from Mac and relax on Alden Street; you will have a great vacation.
