great location: just a short walk down a quiet street to the beach stairs. Even my 2-yr old could walk it. The beach has sandy and rocky areas, so pack water shoes. Plenty of local restaurants a short distance. We ate at Marshland's and really enjoyed it.
great yard: if we weren't at the beach, my kids were playing on the swing or in the hammock. The yard felt private and was shady. We had plenty of space to eat out in the yard, even when family visited and we had a crowd.
The house: great 3-season porch caught the breeze and felt cool on a warm day. The bedrooms had plenty of space. We slept in the queen sized bed and I thought it was comfortable. The bedrooms all had A/C units. The house felt spacious. The stairs were a little unusual, open between each step and with metal bars acting as a railing that a small child could climb between. They could be dangerous to a child. They did have some child proofing in the outlets and for the cabinet with the cleaning chemicals. The kitchen had the very basics for dishes & pots and pans. Not enough silverware. We would have liked to have had a pitcher for making drinks and a large pot, big enough for corn on the cob. There was a wooden drying rack in the laundry area which was great for drying our suits.
Customer service: the managers were great before we got there and were willing to work with our special requests. And our security deposit was returned quickly. However, the responsiveness to a maintenance problem once we were there was unacceptably long.
Cleanliness: The house was mostly clean. Inside the fridge needed better attention, as did the cleanliness of the dishes.
Overall, I would recommend this property and will check it out for our next visit.
