Everything we hoped for and more!

This place is fantastic! The location is perfect - a very short drive to the downtown attractions, yet away from the hustle and bustle, and you can see the entrance to the Plantation from the front yard. The beach access was perfect for our family of four little boys. They eagerly traveled the short walk down the private gated boardwalk every day, excited to see what treasures they could find on the beach (crabs were their favorite!). There were waves, but even my three year old was at home near the water. When the wind blew, we were even able to fly small kites. The lifeguards are at their posts all day long and really watched the swimmers and kids on the beach. All this just steps from the back door. I was worried about the reviews stating the beach was rocky, but the kids loved rearranging the rocks and there was plenty of sand, although water shoes were a good idea. The house was in great condition - clean, welcoming and comfortable. We were able to have a lobster dinner with corn on the cob in the well-stocked kitchen. The granite counter top on the island was big enough to house the puzzles we completed. Having the brand new washing machine and dryer was fantastic - one of my favorite features! There was plenty of room for our family of 8 to stay the week. Having coffee on the porch in the morning was a great way to start the day. The jetted tub was the perfect way to end it! Kyle was amazing about answering any of our questions and always got right back to us. She went above and beyond to be sure our kids were happy (thanks for the DVD player!) and made us feel like we were truly on vacation. There were only a couple of negatives. There weren't sheets or blankets for the pull-out couch or extras in case we needed to change them, but Kyle took care of that for us. Also, the cable didn't work when we got there and was out for a couple of days, but I think that was a fluke thing and was also taken care of as soon as they possibly could - thank goodness for that DVD player!! It would also have been nice to have shades or blinds on ALL of the windows for the early morning hours. The only thing we found in the kitchen that was missing was a can opener. All in all, it really was the perfect vacation rental for us!

The Winslow cottage is beautiful and our stay was perfect--excellent hosts, beautiful decor, well-equipped kitchen, and great location for exploring Plymouth, its environs, and Boston.

My husband and I stayed here recently and the experience surpassed our expectations. I felt like a queen in the gourmet kitchen. We were so close to everything in the town, but enjoyed the the lovely and comfortable townhome so much, we stayed in more than we planned to. I don't want to rave too much because we definitely plan to come back and I'm afraid this best kept secret in Plymouth will not be available once word gets out how great it is.
