Great house!

5 of 5
Three generations gathered in this lovely home on Nauset Heights. We have stayed in this area in the past, but never in as well-equipped and gracious house. Walk to the beach, sit on the deck and listen to the surf and just relax. Plenty of room to be together for meals and games but to get away from each other when you desire: younger folks to play pool on the first floor, watch TV in the family room or have a conversation in the living room. Comments on Nauset Beach: You have easy access to the public Nauset Beach (without having to fight for a parking place) with lifeguards and the fabulous onion rings at Liam's. But you also have direct walking access to the connected private beach which has no lifeguards but has the benefit of privacy and fewer crowds.

Exactly what we needed!

5 of 5
So many great things about this home. First, it is a Fri to Fri rental, which is rare. It is pet friendly and absolutely perfect for dogs, extremely private yard, in fact you can't see any other houses. The house itself is well maintained, comfortable and fully equipped. Sheets, towels, beach towels, beach chairs and some additional extras. The neighborhood is really beautiful. The house is across the street from Meeting House Pond. We brought along our boat and booked a transient mooring for the week for a great price at Nauset East. Less than 2 miles to the beach and about a mile from many shops and restaurants. Cate, the owners is very pleasant and easy to communicate with. Great spot for the week, I only wish I had booked 2 weeks! I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a home in Orleans in a private setting but close to everything!

Pristine View and Flawless Property

5 of 5
We just completed our 4th visit to Briar Point, and for more reasons that could fit in this review, highly recommend that you experience what we have been privileged to enjoy over the past several years. What makes Briar Point so special is that it is not just a “rental.” It is a very beautiful home, meticulously cared for by the owners, and they graciously allow us to use it as our home when we visit the Cape.

The property is immaculate, inside and out. We first visited in 2009, and the level of care continues to be perfect. The owners are constantly upgrading the amenities for our convenience. The kitchen this year has a new dishwasher and refrigerator, with a new washer and dryer in the laundry area; all are top of the line appliances. Last year the garage area was magically turned into a children’s play area, complete with a large flat screen tv. Then there is the 60” tv and Bose sound system in the great room.

This home is located in a very nice, quiet, residential area and is minutes from restaurants, stores, and our favorite place, Nauset beach. One of the nicest additions for your enjoyment is the pool, which is a perfect stopping place when you return from the beach.

We could go on, but pictures speak louder. Enjoy your virtual tour of this unique property and give it a try. When you open the door and see the beautiful flower arrangements placed throughout the house, you’ll know you have chosen the right vacation home for you.

Now, we realize that a review of this nature may very well prompt people to visit Briar Point, and that visit may preclude us from being able to spend another week in paradise. But there is something about Briar Point that compels us to share its goodness with everyone; it definitely brings out the better, “sharing,” angels of our nature. We could not do otherwise. It’s that good.
