Best of both worlds!

One of the best things about this house is that it makes you feel that you are far away from the hustle and bustle of OB, but in reality you are a few blocks away. You can walk downtown and down the street to the beach. The house is relaxing and quaint. Perfect getaway...

Amazing house contributed to unforgettable week!

5 of 5
Came here with my fiancée and future in-laws for a week leading up to our wedding. The property was exactly as described, the owner was incredibly helpful with the few tiny problems we had and the view was gorgeous. The layout of the house is perfect for more social settings, although the master bedroom is private enough. The back deck in particular is excellent for a cookout type atmosphere. We had some wedding guests arrive early and had a cookout with about 20 people comfortably. The house was exactly what we were hoping for and I would definitely see it was available in the future, as many of my new family wants to return to the vineyard in the future.

Just Right

5 of 5
This well-appointed, private cottage is situated on a small lake that separates the property from Vineyard Sound. Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs are easily accessible and we explored each on bicycle. Mornings and evenings on the deck were serene, colored by nature and in the company of several species of birds who asserted gentle ownership of the property. Cottage decor is tastefully retro themed and all facilities are up-to-date. While the outdoor shower is a pleasant communing with nature, the indoor shower is an absolute treat. We cooked most meals at the cottage and the kitchen provided each and every piece of equipment a cook could hope for. Overall, this property is serene, private, with beautiful water views, close to town, small but very cozy, clean and comfortable. A gem!
