I really enjoyed our memorable vacation

5 of 5
My first impression was WOW! I could not believe how spacious the apartment was indeed. The kitchen had really nice granite and was fully stocked for even a novice cook like me. I mainly enjoyed the hammock and even woke up to a deer by the pond one day. The kayaks were our big treat. We just enjoyed the time on the pond the whole week. The water was so tranquil and we basically just let it float us with no effort on our behalf. It's a good size pond and we noticed there were baby swans at one end. What a treat to be able to get close to them. We even saw an osprey nest . It's a pretty quiet place, the owner never is home an added bonus since my little ones are quite noisy and she told me later she never even knew we had children. Now that's some insulation for sure with my noisy gang. The owners were very nice to deal with and allowed us to make payments for a year before our trip or it would not have been possible for us to be able to go with our tight budget and 3 kiddos. I always felt I was the only person on the property it really is a wonderful place and so centrally located to everything. There was car seats, a carriage and an over abundance of every type of toy imaginable. Yet we never knew all these toys were here. They were tucked away in the back of a large closet and the games were all located under neath the counter bar. Everything was well hidden but leave it to my little ones to find it all. The house was not over cluttered. We had lots so space for our little ones ages 2 , 6, 11 To run around. Right outside the living room and master bedroom there was a nice lanai and it really was a great extension of the living room and the kids just loved to be out there day and night. The owner even offered a small bike with training wheels to my middle boy and he never stopped peddling the whole time which was an added bonus since he slept in until 8:30 every morning.. No disappointments here. The place was so clean and my wife has allergies and never had an issue. You will be happy like we were, Enjoy

We loved it here!

5 of 5
We travelled to the Vineyard for a family wedding and were very happy we chose to stay at this absolutely charming place! Annie greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was just perfect - lots of comfort, charm and detail in every corner. We definitely made use of the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, and enjoyed soaking in the lovely claw-foot bathtub. The location was excellent - we were able to walk into town, and were centally located for all the many family activities of the weekend all over the island. I hope to be able to return for a longer stay.....

Classic cozy Cottage by the beach!

5 of 5
I stayed at Greg's house with several family members (adults and children) this past summer for two weeks. It is a nicely maintained older Victorian cottage. It is as bright and airy as the pictures. Inside there are comfortable living spaces and ample sized bedrooms. Cable and wifi were included. The kitchen is very functional, with newer appliances. There is an outdoor shower which we used after the beach, but also as backup to the two indoor bathrooms. We barbecued in the back yard a few times and it was convenient to have this option. There is an inviting wraparound porch with a wonderful view of the water, ideal for relaxing on a warm day. We found the location great for our needs. The Inkwell beach is right across the street. The house is walking distance (about 5 minutes) from Oak Bluffs ferry, in-town Oak Bluffs (10 minutes) , and tennis and basketball courts (5 minutes) , all of which we took advantage of. There is also a large park right across from the house. Greg was pleasant to deal with, and left us a little welcoming gift. We would definitely rent here again.
