Perfect Stay!

5 of 5
This was our first visit to Martha's Vineyard, and our first time using Homeaway, and Annie's loft helped make both experiences wonderful. Annie takes the phrase "home away from home" seriously. The loft is on the second floor, above her office, so there's a lot of privacy. We only saw Annie twice during our 7 day visit and felt as if we were staying in our own home. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms in the main part of the loft; a short walk across the outside deck brings you to a third bedroom/guestroom and private bath. The main loft has a living room, sitting room, dining room, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen, two bedrooms and a second large bath. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to avoid eating out. There's a large refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, wine refrigerator, Keurig coffee machine, traditional coffee machine, coffee grinders, tons of dishes, glasses for all your drinking needs, utensils, vases in case you desire fresh flowers and a lot of storage space. We live in Manhattan, where our kitchen is tiny, so we were quite content in Annie's kitchen! There are a lot of windows, so we rarely turned on lights during the day. A lot of seating, so if you're a family, you can gather around the kitchen table or find your own quiet spot in the living room and sitting room. Televisions in the living room, guestroom and larger bedroom - we only used them a few times to check the news. I'm not sure my husband and I have relaxed this much on vacation in 20 years! Highly recommended. We hope we'll be able to book the loft again in the future. We think it'd be a perfect place to stay with our nieces if they visit in May or September (when the Vineyard isn't as crowded as summer).

Love this place! Been back here 4 times

5 of 5
What a beautiful hidden spot. The children love this place with all the extras just for the kiddos. I have a small baby and needed to bring nothing. There is even a car seat available. It's very private here. It sits on a huge parcel of land. I was very impressed with the set up in fresh pond. It really is close to everything yet so hidden away from it all when u don't want to be bothered with the hustle and bustle. We love the sunrises in the pond! U have to kayak and take pictures. We find new hidden treasures here every year. They are always updating and are thoughtful of the kids toys and book choices. The nicest people u ever could meet. They even baby sat for us 1 night so we could go to dinner. We count the days until we can come back again, never a disappointment in this beautiful landscaped yard of colorful bliss. Nice set up and private from the kids space. My hubby just fished from the Kayak a real vacation for him. I love the yard and the apple trees.. A special place for sure. Hope you love it as much as we do.

Classic cozy Cottage by the beach!

5 of 5
I stayed at Greg's house with several family members (adults and children) this past summer for two weeks. It is a nicely maintained older Victorian cottage. It is as bright and airy as the pictures. Inside there are comfortable living spaces and ample sized bedrooms. Cable and wifi were included. The kitchen is very functional, with newer appliances. There is an outdoor shower which we used after the beach, but also as backup to the two indoor bathrooms. We barbecued in the back yard a few times and it was convenient to have this option. There is an inviting wraparound porch with a wonderful view of the water, ideal for relaxing on a warm day. We found the location great for our needs. The Inkwell beach is right across the street. The house is walking distance (about 5 minutes) from Oak Bluffs ferry, in-town Oak Bluffs (10 minutes) , and tennis and basketball courts (5 minutes) , all of which we took advantage of. There is also a large park right across from the house. Greg was pleasant to deal with, and left us a little welcoming gift. We would definitely rent here again.
