Exceptionally Quaint Home in the Heart of Oak Bluffs!

                        4 of 5
This home will definitely put you in a relaxed island state of mind! It is within walking distance to all that Oak Bluffs has to offer. Parking is terrific if you bring a car. There is a spot right behind the house. It is a simple home, but has everything you will need. We loaded up on groceries in Cape Code before getting on the ferry and cooked almost every meal for the week in the kitchen, which was fully stocked. The front porch has a great table that seats four. We ate breakfast and dinner there each day. The table's side of the porch becomes dark at night, but we brought one of the small lamps from the family room out onto the porch and put it in the middle of the table. It created a really special atmosphere for dinner. The owner's sister lives on the island and will happily assist you with anything you need. I called her the first day to ask for more towels and she brought them over, no problem! She was also very willing to answer any questions about the island. A couple of things to note: There is no air conditioning, however, the owners have plenty of electric fans if you look in the living room closet. It actually ended up being incredibly comfortable with the windows open throughout the house. There is no washer/dryer, which can be tough when staying close to a week. However, there is a laundromat within walking distance. If you are looking for a simple and relaxing island cottage within walking distance then I would definitely recommend this rental to you. It was a tough place to leave knowing that we had to return to the "real world". We've only been away one day at this point and are already longing to return!

Beautiful cottage in heart of Oak Bluffs

                        5 of 5
Our stay at the Oak Bluffs cottage was perfect. Everything was as described on the listing. The walk to town was no more than 5 minutes, which gave us easy access to the ferry, the Black Dog, shops, bars and restaurants - Oak Bluffs is probably the most active town on the island. It was a bit too chilly for the beach over Memorial Day weekend, but warm enough that we could start our day with a refreshing run along the coast and spend the day venturing on mopeds to Vineyard Haven, Edgartown and South Beach. Some of the house highlights were the grill and the outdoor shower - something extra refreshing taking a shower in the sun and ocean air.

Immaculate Home in PERFCT location! Steps to the beach Effortless walk to town!

                        5 of 5
We just spent one week in this gorgeous home in Oak Bluffs. The owners have done amazing job restoring this house. We are a family of 5 with two kids and a grandmother along for the trip. My mother who is active and in good health enjoyed her bedroom on the first floor and full bath located next to her room just off the kitchen. She loved sitting on the front porch with a book, and walking to town during the day. The other 3 bedrooms are on the second floor. The master has a beautiful en suite bath and a lovely balcony where we enjoyed coffee and tea in the morning. The kitchen is AMAZING with everything that you will ever need. Out back on the back deck a beautiful table with an umbrella for sunny days. Beach towels, a HUGE stock of board games, books, bicycles, eat-in kitchen....just some of the delightful touches that made this house PERFECT in very way for us. I will tell you that it is the pride of the street. As we sat on the beautiful front porch, people slowed down to look at this beautiful home. We barely drove our car. An EASY true walk to town and beach (Inkwell). The owner was delightful and the managing company is was tremendous to work with from beginning to end. The cleaning team was excellent and I felt like every corner of the property was cleaned. A REAL pleasure. I can't wait to return!
