LOVELY COTTAGE PERFECT FOR A RELAXING GETAWAY.

5 of 5
My husband and I have stayed in this wonderful cottage on several occasions. We just rented it for the entire month of June and it was perfect. It is a wonderful space that feels like a home away from home. The location offers quiet but is also close to everything we enjoy doing. Bike rides and walks during the day and amazing dinners in the evening in the surrounding Berkshire towns. There is a country road across the street that offers walks past meadows and protected trails. The cottage is beautifully renovated with a new open kitchen which is stocked well with all the essentials. The Old Inn on the Green and the Southfield Store are in the area and are two of our favorite places. The Monterey Store, another great spot, is a short car ride or bike ride away. My husband and I are drawn to this area of the Berkshires. We love it! Kathy and Alex

THE HOUSE WAS EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR!

5 of 5
Elegant home with space for all of us as we celebrated our boys graduation from Salisbury School. Location was perfect, close to the school and Great Barrington. Large kitchen/living space, ample bedrooms with comfortable beds, and wonderful grounds, perfectly manicured with a relaxing pool area. We would highly recommend this property

WE REALLY LOVE THIS HOUSE

5 of 5
Second year in a row we have spent part of the holiday season here. This is the plan: my friend visits from Paris and we do NYC shopping and dining and then we make our escape. New Marlborough is turning the volume way down. The whole Berkshires experience is kind of like going back in time. And it is not a compromise. On the contrary, you slow life down and it is indulgent. The house is charming with a fabulous eat-in country kitchen. Like living in one of the nostalgic illustrations at The Norman Rockwell Museum in nearby Stockbridge. Menus can get pretty fancy since fresh gourmet product is available at Guido's, Rubiners and Bizalions in Great Barrington. We dined on home cooked quail, rabbit, pheasant not to mention the cheeses, charcuterie and wines. Old Inn on the Green’s restaurant is excellent in a romantic atmosphere of old time New England. For a coffee break or morning pastry Southfield Store/Cafe is a 5 minute drive. Great base for day hikes and daytrips exploring parts of 4 states: CT, NY, VT, and of course MA. Everything seamless in all the arrangements thanks to ever attentive Jenny. Left our hearts in the heart of the Berkshires!
