We LOVED this house and location! Our Family of seven + mother in law, means eight total - had an amazing time here. We are from the Pacific Northwest and wanted to do an East Coast trip. Part of our stay included 5 nights in this lovely home.
Our children (1-10 years old) enjoyed the park and beach that are a close walk from this location. My wife who LOVES to bargain shop, had a great time visiting all the thrift shops located in the basements of old churches or small farm houses (you'll need a car and at least half a day to do this) spread around this part of the Cape.
Plymouth Rock, within an hours drive away, allowed some history to be part of this trip. We traveled down the Old Kings Hwy and went all the way to the tip of the Cape and back in one day. I'd strongly recommend Four Seas Ice Cream as some of the best I've ever had.
One of the best recommendations came from our hostess - First Encounter Beach in Eastham. At low tide the ocean literally recedes one mile out, you can only imagine what a pack of kids would think of all the shell hunting.
The pictures are a very accurate representation of the home. The house is charming and well restored. This is where we will stay if we get a chance to visit the Cape again.
