Wonderful home!

5 of 5
My husband, son and I stayed here with another couple and their daughter for a week in August. The house was very clean and comfortable with plenty of places to lounge around. The kitchen was well-equipped and we were able to cook everything from clam chowder to baked ziti (there are also plenty of lobster-sized pots). My son has autism and tends to get into everything but the house was very safe for children, and far enough from other homes that we didn't need to worry about noise. We used the golf cart a lot, both to bring gear down to the beach and just to tool around - the kids loved it. After the kids went to bed the adults were able to sit out on the screened-in back porch, which was also great. Pete was an absolute delight to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to contact him again. Great vacation.

A great place for a family reunion

5 of 5
Our expectations were exceeded. The swimming pool and hot tub were wonderful features that are not usually available in a large house rental.. The large deck, swimming pool and four large interior rooms gave us plenty of places to congregate. Were had 12 full time people and the house's proximity to Boston and Maine allowed other relatives to visit for a day. We enjoyed many activities in the area. We went whale watching, deep sea fishing and sailing. We visited Rockport and walked out to Eastern Point Lighthouse. Some of us toured Beauport which is an historic estate within walking distance. Although there are beaches nearby, the water is cold but the pool was heated. Take pictures at the beach, but swim in the pool. Lobster dinners and meals on the outdoor grill provided all of our evening food. The owner travels a lot and may be difficult to reach when you start your reservation process, but be persistent and you will be able to reserve a wonderful rental. When your actually there Sam has hired a local pool service, a handyman and a housekeeper who live nearby. They will quickly resolve any maintenance issues that occur during your visit.
