Linda's review of rental 982567

5 of 5
This home we vacationed in is a wonderful house lovingly cared for and thoughtfully set up for a great rental property. The description of the property and amenities provided within were perfect, and then some! All ages upon arrival felt very welcomed and comfortable here. We were fortunate that the weather was perfect so we spent a lot of our time at the beach swimming, playing and relaxing. We always enjoyed returning to the house where everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed preparing meals together, barbecuing and dining in the back yard which was thoughtfully designed for all ages to gather, relax and play. The neighborhood is very kid safe and friendly. It's a lovely area for walking, running and bicycling, which we did quite a bit of. One of our favorite things to do was to take a casual walk up to the Marketplace. The walk itself is just beautiful, with lovely landscaping, narrow beach roads, a very pretty pond to walk by with a footbridge that attracts kids with fishing rods and drop lines. At the Marketplace you can peruse the small shops, play a round of mini-golf, enjoy seafood, pizza and ice cream. On weekend evenings there are bands that perform to entertain all ages.We felt comfortable letting our kids ride their bicycles to the Marketplace several times for a slice of pizza and to visit the shops, to include the candy store, which the adults enjoyed as well! We made a couple of trips to Falmouth where we like to check out the Christmas Tree Shop, there's usually something there for everyone. We love going to the Clam Shack at Falmouth Harbor, the seafood is great and you can watch various boats, yachts, and ships coming and going.Just up the street is a large municipal parking lot that is very convenient to Main Street which has a lot to offer the visitor with fun stores and great spots to relax and grab lunch or a snack. One of the things we really liked about the location of the house we rented was that it was easy to venture out to various destinations. One of our outings included a trip to Hyannis where there are numerous interesting sites and shops to check out along it's main thoroughfare. We were able to locate a couple of shops that we had seen online and purchase items that we were interested in. We had an absolutely wonderful vacation and are looking forward to booking again in 2015!

First Trip to Cape Cod, We Loved the Stowaway!

5 of 5
We had such a great trip to Cape Cod and this cottage was perfect for our family! The house is located on a thin peninsula, surrounded by water. It's out of the way and quiet. Just what we were looking for! Our kids loved that they each had their own bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom and outside shower were both large. The kids favorite part of the vacation was walking down the road to the little bay beach and swimming and collecting hermit crabs, clams, & crabs in their buckets. We spent most nights at the bay beach swimming, fishing and watching the sunset. There are great beaches within a 5-10 minute drive away, we liked the beaches in Falmouth best. We also loved the cute towns of Popponessett, Falmouth, Mashpee and Woods Hole. We will definitely be back! Betty, many thanks to you and your husband for your hospitality! - The Parker Family (NJ)
