                          QUIET FAMILY FRIENDLY AND CLEAN

                          5 of 5
Property was beautiful and well kept from outside with an amazing view of pond- which honestly looked like a lake. Deck was my favorite spot- eat at the table or gaze at water while drinking coffee or happy hour:) Inside was clean, welcoming and had extras like a hand written note, flowers and music. Very clean and more spacious than I imagined. My family got to meet owners and neighbors and we felt welcomed by all and at the same time not like we were bein watched. I will be coming here again :)

                          LOVED IT.

What a great place. Thank you for sharing it with us. In the past, whenever I stayed in the area I stayed on the Vineyard and while I do love it there, staying at your house on John's Pond wasn't second best. It was just as good. Whether sitting or swimming in the pond, bike riding or jogging in the area, going to the beach, or traveling around the picturesque countryside, we loved it. But most of all, we loved just staying around the house and enjoying the peace and beauty of it all. Thank you.

                          IDEALLY LOCATED, CHARMING QUAINT COTTAGE!

                          5 of 5
What a beautiful surprise to discover Popponesset beach and neighborhood! The beach (for residents and guests) is long and so quiet, we spent entire mornings there almost alone! It's not 5 min walk to get to the beach from the cottage and it made the vacation so much more relaxing when the kids could just walk home alone (it feels very safe, what cars there are, which is NOT a lot, were slow and careful), take their 'outdoor' shower and relax in the yard while the parents relaxed the last hour on the beach. The cottage feels brand new, everything was in great shape, the beds were very comfortable, there is everything one needs in the kitchen (including good steak knives!!) and the yard is partially shaded all day, which is perfect. Martine and Richard were the nicest: easygoing and reliable, really the best! I'll mention the neighborhood again because it is really nice to walk to Popponesset market or just around and enjoy the sceneries, the beautiful houses on the beach, the sand bar on the North end of the beach. And Mashpee itself, around the rotary, has everything one needs, 7 minute drive away (we particularly enjoyed our last dinner at Cooks, a seafood place off the rotary, besides 99, which serves fresh seafood, good quality and good price - excellent for casual dinner). Definitely we would return, without hesitation! Thanks Martine and Richard for a great vacation!
