Perfect Vacation Spot

5 of 5
Our first time on this magical island and most certainly not our last. Our only regret is that we didn't have an additional week to explore. Alice and Ken are wonderful. The accommodations were just as advertised, only nicer. Cozy, private, convenient and immaculate. Perfect for a young couple from the city on a budget and not looking to be in the middle of a mob scene. You both are so gracious and helpful. I have to tell you, the morning walk to the beach was a highlight along with the great shopping and memorable meal at Copper Wok. See you next year, we will make our arrangements after the New Year.

Nice spacious and clean rental!

5 of 5
This house offers everything needed for a wonderful MV Vacation...central location, plenty of room, laundry off main floor( don't have to hear it)! I am a Wyndham Time share owner, so am accustomed to well-appointed accommodations and this is a five star. Great value for your money. Owners are very professional and maintain their properties well. I have rented from them for 23 years and have never been disappointed...

Lovely

4 of 5
We had a lovely time in Martha Vineyard and part of this was because the accommodation was so lovely. The condo was as described and very pleasant to stay in. While there are signs of wear and tear, I think you would expect that from a rental accommodation and it certainly didnt impact our stay. The condo has everything you would possibly need, including a washer and a dryer ( we were a family of 4 with an 18 months toddler travelling from abroad) and is super comfortable. The only thing that's missing is picnic stuff. We, for obvious reasons, couldn't bring that with us, and it would be nice to have a few tupperware boxed, cool box and maybe a few beach toys...but this is a mother talking! It is really well situated, we didn't have a car and just hired bikes and while we didn't the whole island, we had plenty of stuff to see and do to keep us busy. We went to Oak Bluffs and Edgartown and I would say Vineyard Haven where the condo is the best of the 3 and a lovely little town. The pool is fab to have and right on the condo doorstep (super handy for napping toddlers) although they had to close it for 24 h when we were there which was a bit annoying. The hot water cut out, which again was annoying given the small children situation, but nothing to do with the condo itself as our neighbors also were cut off and Dylan was helpful. The ambiance is lovely and everyone was super friendly. It was a perfect family place with no noise at night and no one going crazy. It's really well located and you can walk to the grocery store, ferry, restaurants and shops which are lovely. We did have to cycle to sample the amazing doughnuts from Back Door doughnuts in Oak Bluffs but that was probably a good thing! Also of note, it's a dry town and while you can drink in restaurants, you cant buy alcohol. Again, probably not a bad thing we had to earn our drink!! We went to the Black Dog tavern which many say is super touristy, but being tourists, it was fine with us and the lobster roll was amazing. Overall, really really nice and I am so pleased this is where we ended up for our stay in the island.
