Made some memories!

5 of 5
We had a spectacular week on the lagoon. Our boys were on the beach looking for sea creatures at the break of dawn! My husband and I drank our morning coffee sitting in Adirondack chairs on the bluff watching over them- It was easy and relaxing. We rode our bikes in to Oak Bluffs for ice cream and rides on the Flying Horses. The house was very comfortable. The views from the decks are beautiful and sunsets are FANTASTIC! Every night a different show! We loved our vacation ! Hopefully next time we can go for 2 weeks!

An amazing vacation!

5 of 5
We arrived to this home and were immediately wowed by it! The house itself is very simple with an antique feel. Cottage would be the exact word I would use to describe it. However, the location is what we loved the most. Being able to look out the back window to see the beach and having the firepit and yard was so great for the evening. We loved the sunporch dining room and the large deck. We came with my twin 4 year old boys and my parents. The 6 of us had plenty of space in the house and we would definitely come back!! The final day we were there, the bridge nearby was being worked on (& was noisy) so we decided to venture to another beach. After trying a few other beaches we truly realized how amazing the private beach was at the house!!! The water was so calm so we never had to worry about the kids and the boys loved catching the crabs and fish in the pond. Plus, being able to walk home for lunch or bathroom was so great with young kids.

Beautiful Water View

4 of 5
The villa is in a nice location- a little off the beaten path so it is quiet. The view from inside as well as from the front deck is lovely. The private beach is a short walk from the villa - it is great for fishing, kayaking, swimming. It is pond swimming so no waves and not a huge sandy area. We really enjoyed both front and back decks. This property could really benefit from an update. The kitchen and bathrooms are functional but not that attractive. A lot of the windows do not work very well - hard to open and close them. The only window treatments are roller blinds in the bedrooms and wooden blinds in the living/dining area. The third bedroom is a loft which makes it difficult for the occupants to sleep if others are downstairs in the kitchen/living area. All in all we enjoyed our stay. Restaurants, beaches, shopping, kayaking and biking were all great. We also found the people on Martha's Vineyard to be really nice and helpful as was the owner. She was accessible and answered all our questions promptly.
