Excellent rental

5 of 5
This apartment was JUST right for the two of us. It is just so tasteful and warm and clean and felt like home. The owner is incredibly nice and engaged and fully accessible and helpful, and also warm and kind. The location is superb (for us, in the fall; can't speak to busier seasons)...all the Oak Bluffs main street attractions just around the corner and, yet, also a bit off the busy/beaten path. For a mid-fall getaway, it was cozy and, well, perfect. There are great walks by water and into the woods nearby. I give it two energetic thumbs up.

Spacious, Centrally Located and Welcoming

5 of 5
Can't say enough about this lovely rental. Opening the door to the apartment for the first time this year, was like coming home. Everything was so clean and fresh and I can't say enough about the location. Although we usually only walk for morning exercise, we find that this location is central enough to all the sites--Victorian Cottages right out our door, restaurants and ocean--to make brining our car just about unnecessary. The porch is fabulous because it's comfy, huge and a great place to watch the parade of locals and visitors while perched above. A great place. And, Larry is great to work with--very accommodating to our needs...

Fantastic place

5 of 5
I stayed in the upstairs apartment for two weeks in October and it was perfect. It's not huge, but beautifully maintained, and great for one or two people - and ideal as a writing retreat. It's right off the main business district of Oak Bluffs so no car is required and everything is at your doorstep. And Sharon (the owner) is absolutely cool and relaxed and great fun to hang out with - and always available in case of problems. The kitchen is small but with all necessities and totally suited my needs - with a funky vintage stove/sink/fridge combo unit. Plus, there's a back deck for warmer months. I definitely recommend it.
