You will fall in love...

5 of 5
The charm of a vacation in the vineyard lies in the home you stay in. And this home has plenty of charm. From its vibrant exterior to its pristinely kept interior, I fell in love with this home. It was a pleasure to meet the owner Guy, who was so warm and inviting. I stayed here with a group of friends, and it was amazing to wake up each morning, sit in the large wicker chairs on the front porch, have a coffee or mimosa and just chat the morning away while music filled the house (every room has speakers!). This home had all the comforts of home that you could think of. It felt like home so much we wanted to spend most of our time there. But since the beach is literally a 2 minute walk we couldn't resist dividing our time. My friends and I decided before the vacation was over that going forward this would always be the home we stay in during our annual visit. It was simply that great!

Gorgeous Waterview Location

5 of 5
This is a fantastic home on a beautiful pond with a private dock directly across from Nantucket Sound. The deck is large and looks out on the water and the living areas are spacious and well appointed for all your needs. The master bedroom upstairs has a spectacular view of the water. The bedrooms are all air conditioned and have plenty of closet and dresser space. The living area is large with a flat screen TV and WIFI . Two of he bedrooms even had TV's in them The kitchen is quite big with all the utensils for a family vacation and the view from the kitchen is also amazing!!!! We loved the location because we could walk to town but we were also on a private street with our own private dock on the water and Vanessa The Sea Serpant always our constant reminder of what a magical place Martha's Vineyard is and why we want to return to the same house next year. The owner was so happy to help with any of our needs and the house was exactly as he described it over the phone and in Home Away. It was the perfect vacation spot for myself and my 3 adult children. I will definitely rent from them again and recommend this house to anyone who wants a beautiful home in a relaxed gorgeous setting with lots of quiet and privacy.

Great Value for a Family Visit

5 of 5
This was the third time at the Vineyard and the first at this house. I won't have to look any further on my next visits. The house is quiet and secluded at the end of a dirt road yet accessable to the bus system for those without a car. We love to drive everywhere and this was a great home base to visit the beaches and lighthouses. So close to Edgartown center you can walk there as well as to the Stop and Shop supermarket. The owners are very nice and easy to communicate with and the property was very clean. This house made the island adventure very affordable for my family who would much rather spend money on adventure rather than sitting in a five-star resort and not seeing the sights. The house is modest in size but ample for family of four with a full kitchen and laundry facilities which is import so you don't have to overpack. Be sure to stop at Edgartown Pizza and make sure you check out the Black Dog locations for their bakery as well as their clothing line (outlet in Oak Bluffs next to their regular store). Flying Horses Carosel in Oak Bluffs is a must for kids. The beaches we liked most were State Beach in Oak Bluffs and East Beach on Chappiquiddick. If you are there in the summer, you must catch a performance by the Vineyard Sound, a college a cappella group that performs five times a week for donations.
