My family and i have been coming to the vineyard for the last 12 years, and this home by far has been the most comfortable place that we have stayed, with the main living and dinning area being spacious and inviting. This home is a true piece of art, with Impeccable stone work, and craftsmanship throughout. This home accommodated 12 people with ease, with everyone having there own privacy. The house has two main level which is accessible by stairs and elevator, and almost every room is equipped with its very own entertainment system. The grounds are meticulously kept with numerous types of plants and trees, which is situated on a large private lot. This home is centrally placed between vineyard heaven and oaks bluff (5-10 min to each), and 15 min from Edgartown. I would highly recommend this home to anyone that is interested in staying on the vineyard.

We take a family trip every year, and we travel from all over the US to be together for one week. This is our third trip to the Vineyard, and -- hands down -- the best rental we have had. As the pictures show, the house is huge and it is deluxe. Everything you can imagine is provided, from kayaks to logs in the fireplace to beach towels to lobster pots. There is no detail that the owner has not considered. We have stayed in some very upscale places, and many seem impersonal and overdone -- its not like our real home at all. But this house is different. It's big and it's extremely tricked out, but it is also very homey and comfortable. We instantly felt unstressed and relaxed. This property is very well maintained and the owner pays attention when guests are there. During our stay, he called to see if one of the screen doors was misbehaving (it was), and he sent over a crew of guys to fix it immediately. We are so grateful for the opportunity to have stayed in that house for a week. It was heaven. We will definitely be back.

"We had a wonderful vacation at this gorgeous rental home in Katama, and I would like to recommend this home highly. Definitely one of our favorite places we have stayed as a family, and the location of the home was ideal for us, as it is a short walk to south beach, or a fun, easy bike ride into Edgartown. One of our favorite things to start our day with was just that, a bike ride into Edgartown for coffee and/or breakfast, and some exercise (many many bikes to choose from, as they were provided with the house). My wife and I loved riding the beach cruisers, although we did give the tandem bike a try too. The home is quite spacious, nicely appointed, and very comfortable, and it accommodated our big group of families, for our mini-reunion of sorts. Plenty of comfortable rooms upstairs and downstairs for adults, with privacy and separation when you needed quiet time (there is a cottage as well, with two more rooms available). At the end of the day, we all ended up in the kitchen/large family room upstairs (which we called the Great Room), which has a very beautiful, and large wooden dining table that could seat us all, and we much appreciated being able to do that without dividing our crew up at dinner time. This is the largest, brightest room in the house and where we all seemed to congregate and had lots of laughs, meals, wine, and even impromptu dance parties that the kids put on! great memories created, although I think I pulled something trying to do an old dance move from long ago.. There is a deck just off of this room which was a good place to relax, or read in the sun, and made it easy for us to watch the kids swim in the pool just below as we prepared meals. The Great Room was our favorite room, although I think my wife's favorite might have been the sauna! Everything we needed was provided with the house, and the owners were very friendly and helpful with the whole process. Great stay, beautiful home, we all definitely want to make a return stay here in summers to come!"
