Wonderfu, and then some!!!

5 of 5
My daughter and I were looking for a cozy, affordable lodging with a water view in Marblehead (a VERY tall order in this quaint old town), and when we found this property we hit the jackpot. And then some. From the time we parked (space #3) and found our keys awaiting us in the foyer we felt like we were home. It's a little bit of an adventure hiking up the steep stairs to the third floor carrying suit cases but well worth the effort. The warm and inviting abode (condo and unit sound too cold and impersonal for this special property)was neat as a pin. Everything one could want or need is there. And then some! Furthermore, the views are enchanting. The windows look right out on the harbor. I imagine when the trees have leaves it's a slightly different view but in the winter months the bare trees give you a panoramic view (and since we were there in December we enjoyed the white lights in the big tree right out front). But that's not all... Location, location, location! Besides its close proximity to the harbor, you are within a block or two of quaint shops and delicious eateries (two right across the street). An added bonus is that the grocery store is literally right around the corner. As for managment/owner, from the get go Phil was quick to respond to my questions. Instructions are thorough, simple and few, really, which made our stay so carefree. Top notch in every way. Thank you, Phil!!! If I could give this a ten-star rating I would! And then some...

Talk About Rooms with a View!

5 of 5
This charming third floor condo has wonderful large windows overlooking Marblehead Harbor. The rooftop deck was a delightful spot to watch the sun rise over the harbor. There was so much within easy walking distance - several restaurants, a bakery, groceries, shops and many of the historical treasures of Marblehead. Two nearby local parks provided great water vistas, as well as a history lesson. Marblehead proved to be a great"home base" and we explored much of the North Shore with short day trips. The owners offered helpful local information, great directions and were a pleasure to work with. The condo is comfortable and attractive with those extra touches that make you feel at home when you come through the door.
