A great stay in a cosy house !

5 of 5
As a French family visiting the Berkshires and Tanglewood, we had a great time staying in this quiet cottage in the middle of the woods by the lake (how exciting to canoe at any time of the day ! ) and really close to towns and cultural centers (N. Rockwell Museum, the Shakers Village, Botanical Garden, Tanglewood performances, etc.). A nice, cosy and clean house with everything you need. You really feel like a guest in this nicely decorated house. We recommend this place very warmly and would not hesitate to go back there (for instance to visit the area in different seasons).

My Summer by Laurel Lake

5 of 5
Renting a house on a lake was a wonderful experience. The house was fully equipped with everything I wanted and not far from Lenox proper. My husband and I bought tickets to various plays in Williamstown, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Jacob's Pillow and Tanglewood. It only had 2 bedrooms, but our grandchildren slept in the 2nd bedroom and our daughter & son-in-law pitched a tent in the grassy backyard when they visited. When it rained they moved into the screened porch on an air mattress. The house was in the woods which gave us privacy, but close to all things we wanted to do. It was smallish, but perfect for us seniors.
