Great extras- art, billiards room, jacuzzi, clean, perfect for family vacation

Ok, so we're hotel snobs. We need the good linen thread count, strong water pressure, fluffy towels, a quiet room, prefer a boutique etc. This was a great fit. In Katama just 5 minutes to South beach and downtown, nearby pond for our SUPs. Bike path about a mile away. The cottage had plenty of room for our family of 4 + 3 guests that stayed for a few nights. The jacuzzi was enjoyed a TON by kids and adults. Never took an indoor shower all week. Large billiards in sun-room/porch was relaxing to kill time while waiting for others to get ready, and for late night scotch. All amenities worked- wifi, washer/dryer, dw, etc. We did not watch TV, so not sure about that. Property is in a neighborhood, but lots of shrubbery and private. Did not see any cars on Hotchkiss Lane all week and it was pre-Labor Day week. Cab home from Edgartown was only $12 . SUPERB real art in every room, not cheesy prints, tasteful antiques, huge cozy clean sofa and chairs. It is bigger than the photos show, all bedrooms are good size, lots of deck. Farm dining table seated dinner for 7. Plenty of lawn for bikes and boards in back yard. We'll return for sure...only legit critique is that the outdoor shower needs a little TLC or face-lift. A car is required, as location is not the "historical" district. Its more of a house than a cottage.

We loved the location and the amenities. Everyone loved the pool and the jacuzzi. You could ride a bike to the beach or Edgartown. We cooked dinner a few times and enjoyed eating both inside and outside. We had a problem getting the screen door to shut and Eric sent someone over immediately to fix it. The property was clean and well maintained. We would recommend this property. FYI: we had two families of three and one family of two in the house and we were all comfortable. We had two adults in the downstairs master with our daughter in the top floor bedroom. Our friend and her daughter shared a bedroom. My sister had her own room and so did her daughter. Their son slept in the room above the garage.

                                    Wonderful home and location

Yet another wonderful week at this home. Every year we return and discover another upgrade to enhance our experience (this year it was a new dishwasher and amazing fish on the walls of the bathroom!). We never tire of pulling into the stone driveway and walking through the front door.
