Recent Greater Boston Reviews

A real "home from home" and so convenient for local amenities.

5 of 5
We have recently returned to the UK from our holiday in Boston and the house 'made' our holiday. It was such a great base for exploring as we had private parking but also the bus stop if we wanted to go into the city. Also possible to walk into town via the green spaces (emerald necklace ) which was fantastic. We drove down to Marth's Vineyard, over to Concorde and to Rockport. Jamaica Plain was lovely, great restaurants and shops. We loved the house and Jane made us feel so welcome with her info pack and lovely e -mails. It is her home and it feels so welcoming and homely. We tended to lunch out and stayed in for evening meals as the kitchen was so well equipped it was easy to cook. We dined out locally a couple of nights as there are some great places to eat within walking distance. I can't recommend this house highly enough.

perfect getaway

5 of 5
The lake house was wonderful. We stayed a week this summer. We traveled to Boston all week long, it was wonderful to come home to a quite neighborhood. I am old fashioned, and not very good on the computer, so I was very skeptical to book a home online. I am so afraid of getting there and the house being a shack. But I was NOT disappointed with the lake house, the pictures and description are dead on. Roberta was wonderful to work with and would highly recommend the house to anybody. It is very spacious. We had six adults and plenty of room. The kitchen was beautiful. There was a grocery store close bye and Sharon is a quant little town. And if you are planning on going to Boston to sightsee check into the Boston to go card. (saved us a lot of money).

A Great Place to Stay!

5 of 5
A great place to relax and have fun. We enjoyed the lake, swimming, feeding the ducks and fish, and kayaking. It was 8 miles to the T station on our site seeing trip to Boston, 2 hrs to Cape Cod and Plymouth. Great restaurant in town, Coral Seafood, and Vin Bin for wine and cheese! The home is beautifuly decorated, and the owners very generously provide many amenities to make your stay comfortable and memorable. If we didn't live in California, it's a place we'd definitely want to visit every year! Keith & Karen
