    Beautiful Home for our visit!

    5 of 5
We highly recommend this home in Falmouth. When we first arrived, we were concerned about it being attached to another home as we didn't realize that when we booked it. We've always had complete privacy in rental vacation homes. But it was absolutely no problem and was very enjoyable!!! Michael and Mary Joyce, the owners, and their family occupy the other home and were very welcoming and helpful during our stay and gave us all the space we needed. The house offers a private atmosphere and has it's own very cute patio with Weber grill that we enjoyed often. The house itself is absolutely fabulous!!! It's very new and is gorgeous with high ceilings, beautiful floors, lots of space and great amenities. Very refreshing as lots of houses in the Cape are old and outdated unless you spend a fortune to rent. Not this one!! The pictures are a true resemblance of the property. The bedrooms are perfect, the mattresses are actually comfortable and the huge elegant master bath shower stall rocks with duel jets. OH, and the 3D flat screen in the master bedroom is just one small bonus. We cooked a good bit and the kitchen offered everything you need just like home. Mary even let us use her own spices that she leaves in the cabinet for you. Other amenities includ washer and dryer, plenty of towels, wifi and air conditioning. We've stayed on the Cape before in a house with no A/C. Don't be fooled. Some days can get warm enough that you need some good ole A/C especially when you get out of a soothing hot shower with duel jets. ha! This house has it all. You can't see the water from this house, but the location was perfect for us as we were there to watch our son play baseball. It's an 11 minute stroll to middle of main street where all the action is and a 6 minute stroll to Arnie Allen Diamond at Guv Fuller Field, home of the Falmouth Commodores collegiate summer baseball team. Make sure you take in a game while you're there. :) It's also easy walking distance to the harbor for dinner at the Boathouse or lunch at the Clam Shak. And you can actually walk to Shores Dr. Beach, but carrying all your beach stuff would make it a little difficult. We drove our car there when we went for a beach day, but most mornings we walked there for the exercise. Only a 20 minute or less stroll. OH, and Dunkin Donuts on Main Street is a quick 5 minute walk since we were exercising in the mornings! yay!!!! This house was great and the owners too. You can't go wrong!
