Wonderful Cottage, wonderful vacation. The Cozy Cottage on the Bikepath at the Frederick William House is everything the description entails. It is inviting and just as it's title implicates "cozy". The living room area is white, bright and airy. The kitchen and table was plenty big enough to cook a great lobster meal, seat 4 adults and two teenagers. The two bedrooms are comfortable and for those of you who need more than open windows to keep cool the window AC units work just fine. Even though there is just one bathroom it is spacious and easily accomodated our family of four and two parents. There is a mirror in one of the rooms for those of you who have teenagers that take up bathroom time getting beautiful. This is our third visit to the Cape so take it from us the location of this cottage is perfect. Hyannis, Bourne, Dennis, Barnstable, Sandwich are all within a 30 minute drive. You could walk or bike to the Ferry. Woods Hole is a lovely little town on the water less than a 10 minute drive away. If you are thinking do I stay near the water, this isn't on the water..... stay here. We have stayed on the water and you risk walking in to a musty home or waking up damp if you do not choose your rental property carefully. Jeanette is a fabulous host- she accommodated our every need which wasn't much because the cottage is well equipped and clean. Don't worry if you don't know where to go, Jeanette has maps and brochures for everything in a tray right after you walk through the front door. You will have a wonderful stay here. Don't let the two bedrooms discourage you if you have a famly of four. She has a comfortable roll away bed and a sofa that pulls out into a twin bed. For larger families the larger home just in front of the cottage is absolutely beautiful and has plenty of space to accommodate a larger family. Love, love the Cape, the weather and "wicked" friendly people. Thanks again for a wonderful visit from the Tyler famly down south!
