We rented the big house twice in 2013 and loved it. This was our first time renting the cottage and we enjoyed it immensely. There is a private entrance to the cottage with a small covered deck and chairs/table that face the back yard. The cottage is very spacious and well-appointed with Jeannette's personal touches that we came to appreciate in the big house. There were 4 adults and our dog with plenty of space--2 bedrooms, a big bathroom with washer/dryer, large kitchen with dining area and spacious, light and airy living room. The ceilings are vaulted in the kitchen/dining area and living room adding to the spacious feel of the cottage While on a busy street, the cottage/parking is set back so the street is not a factor. Having the bike path accessible from the back yard--and the many bikes to use is a real plus--especially in the busy summer. You can use the bike path to go to Seafood Sam's, the bus station, the parking lot for the ferry, downtown Falmouth and even Wood's Hole. A good local restaurant, Crabapples, is virtually across the street and serves great fish chowder. It is a pleasure renting from Jeannette...both the house and cottage are A +

I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing stay, in a quiet place, with plenty to do... Our family of 4 stayed here the last week of August. The house was more than we expected. While it looked small from the outside, there was a lot of room for us. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with all of the things we needed to cook the fresh seafood we cooked every night. There was a fairly new bbq in the backyard that we used regularly also. The owners gave us access to their bicycles and there were plenty of trails to ride in the area. The area beaches were nice. Access to the Martha's Vineyard ferries were close and we made full use of them. The neighborhood is very quiet and there was plenty of shopping places nearby. We definitely plan on staying here in the future.
