Lovely Cottage close to the Ocean

                    5 of 5
We booked this on Home Away, site unseen, and the Cottage surpassed our expectations. We loved the accommodations, very clean and extremely well equipped home, tastefully decorated with everything that you could possibly need, walking distance to the water, quiet street, nice patio with a Bar B Q, close to stores for shopping and a great dropping off point for the Cape. In the Town Centre we were there at a good time, there was an art exhibit, a strawberry festival, and a music festival. The Cape is quite unique, we explored and drove from top to bottom, everyone was friendly and we had a great time. We were four girlfriends on our very first get away and we had lots of space in the cottage and came home ( yes, it felt like our home ) every night, exhausted from our days exploring the Cape. It was so nice to unwind with a glass of wine. Richard and Lynn were very easy to deal with, very friendly, courteous, and we received our damage deposit very quickly. Property was clean and very well- maintained. When you are going to a place where you have never been before it is hard to know the area however this location was ideal, in five days we knew where everything was, stores, grocery, antique shops, etc. Restaurants were very good, lots of restaurants, and lots of places to see. It surpasses our expectations and we are planning on returning to Lynn & Richard's cottage next summer. We were all very Happy !

                    we enjoyed our stay!

                    4 of 5
The cottage is a cozy getaway and satisfied our needs comfortably. The sixties kitchen is cool and well equipped. The decorations and furnishings are simple and very tasteful. Jeanette is a dear! The patio with gas grill and free bikes make the cottage an even better deal! Room for improvement: A light on the patio would be great. New covers on the living room couch might be a thought. It is conveniently located and offers lots to see nearby. Falmouth is a cute little town with beautiful beaches and marches. Thanks for a great stay!

                    a piece of cape cod

                    5 of 5
this comfy cottage was the ideal location. it was on a quiet street but close to many attractions. the house was clean and comfortable. the washer/dryer was a nice +. the area has all there is to do and see. the bike path to woods hole was my favorite. it is safe, scenic and nearby. after a nice ride ,there is a pub just waiting for you to have lunch/glass wine. the hiking abounds. the trails are well marked . the house has brochures on all the local happenings and there are plenty. too many restaurants to try them all but liam mcquires is a favorite.
