Very modern home in an excellent location

4 of 5
We were 3 adults and 2 children (7yo and 21 month old). We have stayed at many different homes in Eastham and were very impressed by the condition of this one. Nice hardwood floors throughout, comfortable couches (1 that reclines), spacious bedrooms and big screen TV. Just to elaborate quickly on the TV... bring a laptop, connect to the WIFI and plug into the TV via HDMI (supplied). You're on vacation but there's no reason you can't still watch movies or shows on Netflix (especially if you bring the kids). The location is perfect. Across the street is a convenience store if you need to grab eggs, milk or a bottle of wine. Marconi beach is 3 minutes away and we were less than 10 from First Encounter beach on the bay side. While we were right on Rte 6 the noise from traffic is pretty minimal. Since we were coming from a city it was quiet by comparison. Overall great stay. My wife and I would definitely come back to this house. All the amenities we were looking for at a great price. Don't hesitate to book this one.

Great family cape vacation

5 of 5
I've stayed on the cape since the 80s but now live in Oregon. We came here last year, toddler in tow, and it was exactly right. Bedroom and bath downstairs allows for privacy and good separation of space. Lovely quiet, wooded backyard. Everything you need, including air conditioning for bedrooms--came in handy a couple of nights! Very helpful owner.

VERY good! We loved the feel and comfort.

4 of 5
I give it an excellent rating because though the house is undergoing improvements it was clean and it was comfortable. I should note that our family does not demand everything be Hilton-esque and some may think that the bedrooms are somewhat sparse, however we found it very nice when compared with other rentals at the same price. Property: One of the features is the fenced in yard. We were able to let our Westie out of the door whenever he wanted to run, so he had a vacation too. The house is off the main road and I dont think we heard a single car pass during our stay. The pond is 130 paces from the property. My daughter caught a pickerel in the first 10 minutes of fishing. The larger back deck is very comfortable. There are neighbors on either side, but they are friendly and quiet. The owner was rarely there and when he was it was only evident because his car was there. Interior The beds are comfortable, though the bedrooms are a bit sparse. There is NO evidence that this is a pet-friendly house. No smells, no pet hair, nothing. When you enter the house there is a very handy counter to your left where you can put things down. The kitchen was nice and clean, new fridge from what I could tell. The large main room is condusive to relaxing together. Again, our family had a wonderful, relaxing time and we look forward to renting from Peter again next year.
