Wish we were still there!

5 of 5
What a great place! The house is nice and the land is spectacular. We really enjoyed our vacation at Manchaug. We kayaked (there are 2 kayaks at the house as well as the listed canoe) all around the lake and there was no property better looking than this one. (When other people boated by our place, we got lots of compliments on "our" property...we may have pretended that it was in fact ours.) Our dogs had a blast swimming and running around in the huge front yard. The lake is perfect, very clean and great for swimming or just floating around on a raft. It was hard to leave. Definitely hope to be back next year!

A Delightful Cosy Cabin in a Lovely Location

5 of 5
Susan and her lovely dog Zoe made us feel very welcome. As soon as we stepped into the cabin we felt very much at home. the interior furnishings are lovely and very much suit the cabin. It had all the necessary facilities to make our stay comfortable. The surrounding area of woodland and lake provided us with good opportunity to see wildlife and enjoy kayaking and swimming. We enjoyed making campfires by the lake to cook our food over. We were privileged enough to see a bird of prey possible an eagle catch a fish right in front of our eyes. Susan is a very lovely lady who was easy to have a chat with and was very helpful and accommodating. I would love to come back, because as visitors from England, we did long trips on most days of our stay at the Cabin to fit in as much sight seeing of places further away which was not very relaxing and this is something that the Cabin and it's location really do offer, A COMPLETE opportunity to RELAX and UNWIND. We would want to make more of just staying around and enjoying the immediate location. THANKYOU SUSAN AND ZOE for making this part of our holiday so lovely. Great family get away!

5 of 5
My family stayed at the cottage for a week in July. We could not have been more pleased. Dan and Tina are wonderful; Tina was always around to help out or supply odds and ends when needed. We fished nightly, had a campfire, went out in the canoe several times and just relaxed. My girls were at a camp in Sturbridge for the week and this was a great place to come home to every night. We hope to be able to come back next summer!
