A very relaxing, beautifully furnished property

5 of 5
My wife and I were looking forward to staying at the cottage after having planned this trip 6 months earlier. We live in the UK and so the trip over the pond to New York City and subsequent week long stay at the cottage was very special for us! We arrived on a Sunday evening after a long drive from New York City so we were tired when we arrived. We were very impressed when we saw the house for the first time and even more impressed when we opened the door at the rear and walked through the kitchen into the lounge. It was so cozy looking and inviting and we just wanted to collapse into the comfortable looking sofa placed facing a large TV cabinet and that’s exactly what we did! We explored the house and were very impressed with the whole place. Our stay that week was very comfortable and we didn't want to leave the following Saturday. We could have stayed another week at least! Cape Cod is a lovely area and we didn't even see half of it. The house just made it even more special and we would definitely stay there again. The house is referred to as a cottage but to us, coming from the UK, this is not a cottage sized house. It is very spacious and so is the large garden at the rear. There are also many additional extras included for your use such as bikes, beach equipment etc and the garden has plenty of chairs to relax in. I didn’t meet Ed and Melisa but from the communication I had with them and a couple of telephone calls when I was there it was obvious that they are very nice, friendly people and couldn’t do enough to help with any advice or assistance requested. If you have a problem, they are keen to get it resolved as quickly as possible. Both my wife and myself would definitely recommend the house to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay right in the middle of Cape Cod and close to the beach. Relaxation in spacious home

I highly recommend staying in this home. Location was perfectly centered for our daily treks east, west, and north. Easy access to main road. House is HUGE. We were a group of 3. All the bedrooms were large and apart from one another offering so much privacy. Each morning, we were filled with so much natural lighting from all the skylights and windows. Kitchen was fully stocked. Gas stove and BBQ grill were a plus. Loved working with Raina. She was very accommodating and pleasant to exchange emails with and quick to respond. Raina was delightful in providing beach chairs during our stay. Overall, I was quite happy with our decision to pick this home for our week stay. Thanks again Raina! Wish we'd never left!

Great little property in Dennisport! It is a cozy and cared for home, perfect for 2-4 people. We enjoyed the large yard and fire pit on chilly nights. So much to do in Cape Cod - great homebase for tired evenings! Melisa is FABULOUS and went out of her way to help us with local suggestions and questions we had about the property and area. Check out Ocean House - very nearby, Dennisport Pizza and Chatham/Nantucket are musts! Ferry is not far from the cottage.
