A great family find

5 of 5
Georgia's Hideaway was everything the listing described and more. The house was clean and well organized and the bedrooms were very spacious. Traveling with 2 kids is not always easy and this home provided everything we needed inside and out. Our family enjoyed the outdoor ping pong table and used it every day. we took bike rides to the beach and there was also a park nearby that was easy a quick 10 minute bike ride. We were able to BBQ and enjoy the large spacious outdoor seating area. The wee packet inn was great for breakfast. We love Georgia's Hideaway and have already selected our dates for 2015.

BEAUTIFUL - A SLICE OF HEAVEN

5 of 5
This was our first time staying at Sea Watch but it will not be our last!!! From the moment we walked in to the time we left, we kept saying what a beautiful view and what a great home. This house is so clean, cozy, we felt like we were at our home away from home. The bonus of the whole trip is that we were able to bring our dog and he got to enjoy the vacation as well. We stayed the first week of December and had great weather and the fireplace at night made it so warm and cozy!!! The upstairs master bedroom and bathroom has the feel of your own private spa, I loved sitting in the window seat and reading a good book. The owner Nancy, was wonderful to deal with and we look forward to staying here again, soon!!!

Spectacular Location, Views, Finishes and Function

5 of 5
We were invited to a wedding on the cape on the last weekend of September. Knowing that the weather and water temps can be ideal this time of year, my wife and I took the opportunity to extend the trip into our first "family" vacation with our 3 year old and 4 month old (and some grandparents). We were looking for a luxury experience that had it all – and we hit a home run with this house. We located the house on Home Away and connected with the owner Ping directly. He was immediately available and responsive and gave us great confidence in the whole process. Securing the rental was clean and hassle free. Upon arriving at the house, we were floored by the location, views, features and overall splendor of the home. The master bedroom looks directly out over the ocean at the horizon and offers a private balcony. The double bunk beds and guest suite provide ample (and private) room for extended family. As food lovers, we cooked gourmet meals in the Viking / Sub Zero kitchen some days, ate pizza on the deck while listening to the waves roll in on other days and even hosted a family gathering around the oversized dining room table. As dinner turned into evening each night, the individually lit, multi-level atrium style windows showcase the height and openness of the house while providing direct views of the changing skies. The sandy “mini-beach” directly off the deck provided an immediate play area for the kids and lounging within steps of the house. Only a few short steps down the stairs you’ll find direct beach access for swimming, sunning, playing and fishing. One highlight was waking in the master bedroom to an orange-sky sunrise and seeing some seagulls circling the ocean near the jetty directly adjacent to the house – to even the casual fisherman, this means “fish”. With a cup of morning coffee and surf rod in hand, I took a leisurely walk to the end of the jetty. Within just a few casts, I had landed the first of many Striped Bass of the week on top water lure. Central A/C is nice but landing a fish from your private beach while on vacation is even better! Whether it was lounging on the porch, shooting pool in the basement, or hitting many of the cape’s sights, this house, its features and location is one we will absolutely come back to.
