                      Cute, quiet, clean and convenient!

                      4 of 5
Great house in quiet Dennisport neighborhood! Spacious rooms, updated furniture, nicely-stocked kitchen and pretty hardwood floors throughout. Easy 10 minute walk thru residential streets to Glendon Rd. Beach, and also walking distance to several restaurants, markets, shops, as well as kayaking and paddleboarding. Be sure to bring your own sheets & towels - as we learned, those are not commonly provided in Cape rentals, and the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Philip, the owner, provides a great list of restaurants, stores, and activities. The Dog House, and Joey's Pizza, both on the way to the beach, were big hits with my family. The nearby beach is fairly small with very little surf - perfect for younger kids. If you have teens (like me), you'll want to drive up the Cape a few miles to Chatham or Orleans for more boogie boarding-sized waves. You might also want to bring or rent wet suits as the water on the Atlantic side is mighty chilly. If you're looking at Cape towns, Dennisport is situated in the middle of several quaint small towns, making it easy to explore the area. Nearby Hyannis has a nice harbor with sailing and fishing tours, as well as ferries to Nantucket & Martha's Vineyard. Yarmouth has an inflatable park with lots of water slides that my teens enjoyed. All along Hwy 28 are mini-golf places, arcades, and ice cream shops. Chatham is a picturesque town with a lively downtown area, and a classic Cape Cod lighthouse. As first time visitors to the Cape, we loved it and would stay here again if we have another chance to visit.

                      A fabulous week in Dennisport

                      5 of 5
Our family spent a wonderful week at this beautiful property. We are six adults and four children (ages seven to twelve), and every one of us totally enjoyed the week. The description of the house is perfectly accurate, with more than sufficient common space and private space. The front and back lawns are beautiful, and the swimming pool is designed for families with children. Steve was always available to help us (we had one very minor problem with burned out bulbs, and he came and replaced within an hour of our call). Nearby activities include mini-golf, go-karts, bumper boats, trampolines, beaches, and bike paths. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, but we also enjoyed grilling in the huge backyard. Everything was perfect. We highly recommend staying here.

                      Lovely!

                      5 of 5
This was the second time we stayed at this property, and it was just as lovely as the first time around. The pictures on the Dennis Seashores website? It looks EXACTLY the same in real life: cozy, clean, and perfect for a family of four. You can't see the beach from the cottage, but that's ok; you can hear it while sitting on the deck in the evenings, and simply walk across the street, and there it is! The ONLY "complaints" we had (and they aren't really complaints, just minor inconveniences) were that the Internet connection was really slow a lot of the time (but it was vacation and the ocean was right across the street - we shouldn't have been online anyway!) and that it would be nice to have a light inside the shower itself - it was a little dark for a lady to shave her legs... ; ) My family and I definitely recommend this property to anyone who would like to stay Mid-Cape, have access to a beautiful, private beach, and a comfy spot to "hang out" and sleep in at night.
