Very nice. Great ocean views.

This was our second time here. Loved the new fireplaces although we didn't need them as the weather was great! The house was very clean & the views from inside are spectacular! Hopefully, we'll be back next year. It's also centrally located, close to attractions and restaurants.

Cute, quiet, clean and convenient!

4 of 5
Great house in quiet Dennisport neighborhood! Spacious rooms, updated furniture, nicely-stocked kitchen and pretty hardwood floors throughout. Easy 10 minute walk thru residential streets to Glendon Rd. Beach, and also walking distance to several restaurants, markets, shops, as well as kayaking and paddleboarding. Be sure to bring your own sheets & towels - as we learned, those are not commonly provided in Cape rentals, and the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Philip, the owner, provides a great list of restaurants, stores, and activities. The Dog House, and Joey's Pizza, both on the way to the beach, were big hits with my family. The nearby beach is fairly small with very little surf - perfect for younger kids. If you have teens (like me), you'll want to drive up the Cape a few miles to Chatham or Orleans for more boogie boarding-sized waves. You might also want to bring or rent wet suits as the water on the Atlantic side is mighty chilly. If you're looking at Cape towns, Dennisport is situated in the middle of several quaint small towns, making it easy to explore the area. Nearby Hyannis has a nice harbor with sailing and fishing tours, as well as ferries to Nantucket & Martha's Vineyard. Yarmouth has an inflatable park with lots of water slides that my teens enjoyed. All along Hwy 28 are mini-golf places, arcades, and ice cream shops. Chatham is a picturesque town with a lively downtown area, and a classic Cape Cod lighthouse. As first time visitors to the Cape, we loved it and would stay here again if we have another chance to visit.

Memorable & Breathless

5 of 5
Absolutely sparkling clean from top to bottom. This vacation spot was perfect for the three of us. The place is surprisingly cozy. The high ceilings and views make the place perfect to call yours for the week! The bed was so comfortable and though the place is small it was organized efficiently with plenty of room to hang your clothes and unpack your bags and kick back for the week. The deck was where we spent most our time relaxing watching breathless sunrise and sunsets. We enjoyed kayaking and just laying back after a long day on the beach, which is either a kayak ride away or a short ride down the road. The convenience of walking across the street to the local fish market and picking up steamed 2-lb lobsters, steamers and more was a treat and so much more relaxing for us, rather than being in a crowded restaurant. The home is equipped for simple meals and we also enjoyed grilling on the deck while watching the amazing cranes, ducks and other kayaks going down the canal. The owners take pride and loved the beach theme decor and that it included Wi-Fi, cable TV on a Flat screen TV, includes cooking utensils, coffee pot, pots/pans and, air conditioning (in the bedroom) - the amazing breeze we had - we hardly had it on and with sliding doors, ceiling fans was sufficient and comfortable. There was everything we needed right out our front door - restaurants, convenience store, ice cream, beaches, views. Absolutely memorable and we hope to be back! The Grahams 7/2014 --
