Fall on the Cape!

4 of 5
My family and I spent a lovely Columbus Day weekend at this great house. We were a large party so also took the small, charming guest house on the property. The main house is half antique with updated and renovated kitchen and bath and half large great room with big dining table and sofas in front of a large TV. We loved the property - a canoe, kayak and hobie for the lake and a firepit to gather around at night. We also had music to watch the fire to as the boathouse has electricity and it's great to listen to as you watch the fire! To sit and watch the ducks and multiple species of birds cruising on the lake in the morning was magical! And sunset over the lake was amazing - the Cape in the Fall is truly beautiful. The small guest house has a wood burning stove and is cozy and charming with 2 snug bedrooms for 2 of my daughters. The beach is a very short drive or a 15 min. walk and the Dennis market and stores are also only a 5 minute drive. I would highly recommend this property for your next vacation!

Will return time and again

5 of 5
My husband and I have just spent the most idyllic time at Patricia’s luxurious beach home. Everything you could think of you need and didn't know you needed are provided for you. From beach chairs to outdoor shower, to balconies on all levels with views of the ocean and Marsh, to access to a private beach just steps away. This is truly a vacation rental that you will want to come back to time and again. My husband is a fisherman and it was fantastic to be able to come home after a day of fishing and cook our fish in this great, fully equipped kitchen. We arrived back from our trip here feeling very relaxed as the beds are so luxurious too. Not often found in rental properties. I know we can't wait till our next stay here and Patricia will do anything in her power to make your stay perfect. She is s very gracious host. Mark & Maureen

Cute, quiet, clean and convenient!

4 of 5
Great house in quiet Dennisport neighborhood! Spacious rooms, updated furniture, nicely-stocked kitchen and pretty hardwood floors throughout. Easy 10 minute walk thru residential streets to Glendon Rd. Beach, and also walking distance to several restaurants, markets, shops, as well as kayaking and paddleboarding. Be sure to bring your own sheets & towels - as we learned, those are not commonly provided in Cape rentals, and the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Philip, the owner, provides a great list of restaurants, stores, and activities. The Dog House, and Joey's Pizza, both on the way to the beach, were big hits with my family. The nearby beach is fairly small with very little surf - perfect for younger kids. If you have teens (like me), you'll want to drive up the Cape a few miles to Chatham or Orleans for more boogie boarding-sized waves. You might also want to bring or rent wet suits as the water on the Atlantic side is mighty chilly. If you're looking at Cape towns, Dennisport is situated in the middle of several quaint small towns, making it easy to explore the area. Nearby Hyannis has a nice harbor with sailing and fishing tours, as well as ferries to Nantucket & Martha's Vineyard. Yarmouth has an inflatable park with lots of water slides that my teens enjoyed. All along Hwy 28 are mini-golf places, arcades, and ice cream shops. Chatham is a picturesque town with a lively downtown area, and a classic Cape Cod lighthouse. As first time visitors to the Cape, we loved it and would stay here again if we have another chance to visit.
