Fall on the Cape!

4 of 5
My family and I spent a lovely Columbus Day weekend at this great house. We were a large party so also took the small, charming guest house on the property. The main house is half antique with updated and renovated kitchen and bath and half large great room with big dining table and sofas in front of a large TV. We loved the property - a canoe, kayak and hobie for the lake and a firepit to gather around at night. We also had music to watch the fire to as the boathouse has electricity and it's great to listen to as you watch the fire! To sit and watch the ducks and multiple species of birds cruising on the lake in the morning was magical! And sunset over the lake was amazing - the Cape in the Fall is truly beautiful. The small guest house has a wood burning stove and is cozy and charming with 2 snug bedrooms for 2 of my daughters. The beach is a very short drive or a 15 min. walk and the Dennis market and stores are also only a 5 minute drive. I would highly recommend this property for your next vacation!

Everythink we hoped for

5 of 5
We were pleased with our vacation at this house . The description of the property really reflects reality. The neighborhood was quiet , the house was very clean , close to all shopping and beaches , enjoyed the local restaurants . Grate stay. We hope to return next year . Tom G.

Historic and spacious house

5 of 5
Our group of 15 friends stayed here for a long weekend for a wedding in neighboring Brewster. Everyone fit comfortably and enjoyed themselves! Three bathrooms and two kitchens was accommodating for our large party. We mostly hung out in the larger kitchen, dining room, and living room with the TV when we weren't out exploring the Cape and eating at the many seafood shacks/ice cream spots nearby! There are also beaches less than 5 minutes away by car, but it was too cold for us to stay too long. The property was very clean and well-maintained. The house is definitely older, but that was the fun of it! There is heat and A/C. There is also plenty of parking for cars. Chris was really pleasant to work with and answered my questions promptly by phone or e-mail. We'd definitely come here again!
