We rented this home with two other families over memorial day weekend. Three of us were running a race in Hyannis and wanted to rent a large house where we could spread out, cook, and relax with our families. Jaime was very receptive to my initial inquiries, provided us with lots of useful info and generally made himself available prior to our arrival and during our stay.
As we drove in, we were struck by how isolated and private the home felt. The house is set in a lovely forest, alongside a small pond, and has a large grassy area in front where our kids were ecstatic to find a zip-line and a rope swing!
The house itself was great--we counted 6 different bedrooms, of which 4 had their own bathrooms; this was a nice feature, as each couple got one bathroom and the kids had their own. The kitchen was really well-stocked with dishes, glasses, etc, and astonishingly, the knives were good and sharp (a rarity in rental homes!).
The well-hidden "kid hideaway" off the upstairs bedroom was a huge hit with the shorter and younger crowd. Paddling around the small pond was very enjoyable, as was sitting around the fire pit in the evening. There is literally something for everyone here: monopoly, scrabble, ping pong, a great bookshelf full of novels, and another shelf full of great DVDs.
About 10 minutes away (if that) is Hardings beach-a lovely, long beach which was largely empty (though this was Memorial day...). Although we had big plans to go off and sight see further, it was far more relaxing and enjoyable to stay at the house, enjoying the setting and the amenities.
I would highly recommend this house to a friend or relative, and we are already planning next year's trip (if not one later this year...)
