Most Excellent

5 of 5
I loved it. My girlfriend loved it. My dog loved it. The house is spacious, clean, well maintained, and quiet. The grill was clean and had gas, the kitchen had everything we needed to make fish, pasta, scallops and more. Main street is a block away, the beach is 2 blocks away, and there's a convenience store across the street. Wifi was reliable. The yard has space and was clean - what more can I say? This place is great. We'll definitely be coming back.

Unforgettable Wedding Location!

5 of 5
Although my fiancé and I are not from Cape Cod, we knew as soon as we got engaged that the Cape was the perfect destination for our wedding. Despite residing in Chicago we researched from afar and narrowed our selection to 10 different venues/locations to visit the following month. Although we saw some amazing places, we knew in our heart the winner would be the Winslow Estate and upon arriving for our tour and driving up the entrance way, our decision was instantly made even before we got out of the car. Our criteria was simple: we wanted our ceremony and reception at the same location, preferably outside, where our wedding party was also able to stay through the weekend and the Winslow Estate accommodated all the above. To say the estate is beautiful is a complete understatement. The house itself, the yard, the views of Pleasant Bay are all breathtaking. Although I’ll admit the price was a bit of a surprise at first, we can say now it was 100% worth it. Once we decided that the Winslow Estate was right for us, the owners (Ken and Ginger) were incredibly helpful, responsive and supportive throughout the entire planning process; always available to answer questions via phone or e-mail or provide recommendations as needed. Given that we were planning a wedding from Chicago, this level of support was certainly needed! We were able to have ourselves and our entire wedding party sleep and stay at the estate leading up to the wedding. We had a smaller guest count (around 85) that all fit comfortably during both the ceremony on one side of the yard and then under a covered tent during the reception on the other side. I’d recommend the Winslow Estate to anyone without hesitation whether for weddings, family reunions, etc. Our memories from our wedding day are priceless, largely due to the location we held it at. Thank you Ken and Ginger for an amazing experience!

A Perfectly Fabulous House!

5 of 5
We were invited by our long time and very dear friends to join them while they were staying at this Perfectly Fabulous House with views that are nothing short of breath taking. This contemporary home has it all. When you walk in the front door, you immediately enter the large expanse of the great room where the kitchen, dining room and living room are all open. It is great for entertaining because whatever your job was in the preparation of a meal, you never missed any of the great conversation going on. Very key. Looking out to the front of the house, it will amaze you to look through an almost wall of glass allowing you to take in the incredible view of Buzzards Bay which I guarantee you will never tire of. And the deck! OMG! The mahogany deck is huge! There has to be approximately 900 square feet of it as it wraps around 3 sides of the house. Plenty of room to have our meals outside on the teak table and cushioned chairs. And the other deck furniture with very cushy pillows made it really easy to take a nap in the afternoon and for extended happy hours. The kitchen was very well stocked not only with dishes for 16 but just about every type of glass you would need. Wine glasses for both red and white, champagne glasses, glass bowls of varying sizes. Truly a very well stocked kitchen with every appliance either built in or that plugs in that you could ever want. Yes there was even an expresso machine there. The bedrooms were well appointed and had very comfortable beds and the bathrooms (there are 4.5 of them!) were well located throughout the house. This home away from home definitely has a European flair to it. And we loved it, can't you tell! Lol! Impeccably maintained, perfectly suited for our needs, the time we spent with our friends eating and drinking quite well, marveling at the views all day and well into the evening made for a truly perfect getaway. As a real estate agent myself, I would not hesitate to recommend this gorgeous rental home to anyone wishing for a relaxing top notch getaway. You won't want to leave. Cheers!
