                            GEM ON THE BAY

                            5 of 5
My travelling companion had to cancel at the last minute so I soloed this trip. The owners had a heads up and accommodated my wish to have one of the futons up to use as a sofa. It's hard to put into words how comfortable this little cottage is. The amenities are amazing, all in one little compact abode that never felt small. Sparkling bathroom and kitchen that were fully equipped...it was perfect. The eating area had an ocean view. I bicycled into Provincetown and experienced freedom from trying to find a parking spot. The bus ran by the cottage on a regular basis. I am gluten free so I used the app on my phone and chose a destination each day to travel to to have a meal. This way I explored all the little hamlets and towns on the cape (by car). The national seashore was close by - I got to see it all and still walk the beach outside the cottage in the morning and evening. The sunsets were otherworldly, the beach combing very fruitful. I already am formulating next years' stay. This is a jewel. I loved the little private courtyard and the serene sound of birds, even the road traffic didn't deter me from keeping the windows open and enjoying the surf sounds. Thank you Sandra and Donna for providing everything needed. You thought of everything and it's so appreciated.

                            PERFECT PLACE TO STAY

                            5 of 5
Perfect getaway for two. Central location, yet far enough from the bustle of town. Cutely decorated by the guys who could have not been more helpful and welcoming to us.

                            EVERYTHING WE WANTED AND MORE

                            5 of 5
It was everything we wanted and more . . . I was only able to stay 5 nights and next year plan to stay 2 weeks. Eric was very accommodating with my well behaved Norwich Terrier, Rugby. The easy access to the private, pet friendly beach, as well as Big Pond, was a huge plus. The families in the Beach Association were very friendly, including one with very young children who were "adopted" by Rugby. Love the deck (it was like being in a tree-house) the layout, kitchen, bed and linens, big bath and luxurious Egyptian cotton towels. I travel a lot and those niceties are so appreciated. The property was very well maintained and I understand more upgrades are planned over the winter. And while the owners' home is next door, it is designed to provide privacy for the tenants, which is an important feature. The kitchen had everything needed for home cooked meals. Nice touches like lovely serving ware and gas grill. Two of my sisters and their families were also in Eastham that week and the owners were great about my hosting dinner on the deck for the 8 members of my family one evening. I am a techno-dinosaur, so I brought brought a CD player for my music. Grocery shopping in Orleans is a short drive. The area is more rural than the more touristy areas at the Cape with a lot of charming dirt roads and a number of good restaurants close by. The beaches, both bay and ocean, in Eastham are beyond compare. And it's close to Truro and Provincetown. This lovely property gets my highest recommendation.
