Our family of 2 adults and 3 children took a chance on this property, since it was brand new on VRBO and had no previous reviews. We were really glad we rented it! The photos don't really do the property justice. The owner has furnished it with nice antiques and art work. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bedrooms were comfortable. Most nights we slept with the windows open, but each room also had a window unit. The master bedroom was nice, with an en suite bath, and small balcony with chairs. The master bed was firm and my husband and I slept very well on it! The second bedroom had 2 twin size beds, plus a rollaway for our smallest daughter. I was originally concerned about mosquitos since this property is right on the estuary, but we did not have any problem with them. My daughter was playing by the water one evening at dusk and she did get a couple of bites, but the rest of us never got bitten, and we ate dinner on the deck most evenings. The view from the house and the deck were really beautiful, again, much prettier than the photos convey. The owner and property manager were very responsive and quickly answered our questions. The property had plenty of beach towels and chairs for our days at the beach. It was a 10 minute walk to the marina, but you will want to drive to main street Hyannis. Great value and fun place to stay!
