Stowes Home on Little pond

5 of 5
This is a lovely home and was very clean on our arrival. The interior is newly updated and well-maintained. It is conveniently located and close to shopping, beaches and Falmouth center restaurants. My wife really enjoyed her afternoons on the deck overlooking Little Pond; and the Falmouth Heights beaches were about a 10 - 15 minute walk for the kids/grandkids. The listing description was accurate; and the owner was very attentive to ensuring the house was ready for us and that our needs were met. I recommend this home without reservation.

Gorgeous home near beautiful beach!

5 of 5
This house is gorgeous and clean, and easily accommodated our group of three adults and one toddler. Our little boy loved South Cape beach which was nearby, just a few minutes drive. While at the house he loved playing outside on the huge deck, we brought his water table and toys, and the den with soft furnishings was the perfect place to unwind with a movie. The low, carpeted stairs were perfect for him to practice, and for the first time he climbed up and down by himself. On the one day it rained we went to the Children's Museum nearby, and to Polar Cave for ice cream, so good! There are wonderful restaurants nearby too like Trevi, and Bleu, and Gaucho. Our hosts were responsive and helpful, and the cleaning staff who we met were really nice. We loved this home!

Great 2 bedroom home for a Hyannis vacation!

5 of 5
Our family of 2 adults and 3 children took a chance on this property, since it was brand new on VRBO and had no previous reviews. We were really glad we rented it! The photos don't really do the property justice. The owner has furnished it with nice antiques and art work. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bedrooms were comfortable. Most nights we slept with the windows open, but each room also had a window unit. The master bedroom was nice, with an en suite bath, and small balcony with chairs. The master bed was firm and my husband and I slept very well on it! The second bedroom had 2 twin size beds, plus a rollaway for our smallest daughter. I was originally concerned about mosquitos since this property is right on the estuary, but we did not have any problem with them. My daughter was playing by the water one evening at dusk and she did get a couple of bites, but the rest of us never got bitten, and we ate dinner on the deck most evenings. The view from the house and the deck were really beautiful, again, much prettier than the photos convey. The owner and property manager were very responsive and quickly answered our questions. The property had plenty of beach towels and chairs for our days at the beach. It was a 10 minute walk to the marina, but you will want to drive to main street Hyannis. Great value and fun place to stay!
