My family spent Thanksgiving week at this lovely home in Chatham. Couldn't have been better. Well, the weather could have been better...but the cold rain outside made the inside of the home even cozier! There was ample room for all of us to settle into the living room for conversation and games with a blazing fire on one side and a view of the bay on the other. Firewood was cut and stacked and ample for our 6 days there! The owner has an amazing collection (300+) of movies of all genres (catalogued and reviewed too!) that gave us some great evening entertainment as well. I was a bit apprehensive about cooking a traditional turkey dinner in a kitchen that I knew nothing about - worry was for naught as it was well stocked with every platter/utensil/pan that I needed! I had asked the owners previously about a couple of items that I would need and they quickly responded and let me know what they had and didn't have and kindly offered for me to get a bread pan that I needed and they would reimburse my cost. I guess that extra special attention and care from the owners is what makes staying at their home truly a treat! The owner supplies tons of info about Chatham for you. While we didn't eat out (other than picking up fresh lobster, cooked and cracked) from the local fish market, we did enjoy shopping in Chatham during the black friday sales, seeing the seals at the pier, touring the cape- al the way down to P-Town, and walking to the beach and lighthouse from the home. It was a great, clean and conmfortable home and overall a wonderful stay.
